Well, if you were a consultant to help Ruger set up turn key suppressor hosts, you were either a terrible consultant (in that you couldnt get them to agree to product the guns) or Ruger decided to put their head in the sand. If you are a consultant in this industry, surely you are headed to FL this week. If so, we can link up and walk over to the Ruger booth and present the same question to them that I presented last week. Im 101% positve you will get the same attitude and looks as I did. Bottomline; Ruger would prefer that their customers not remember that they tried to sell them down the river to line the pockets of Bill Ruger and his crew. Screw America's gun owners for personal gain. Classy. Your buddy may be a good guy. You may have consulted with them. They will never cleanse themselves of that nasty stain, and I will do my part to insure that never happens.

I will have to see if I run into him this week down at SHOT. I cant remember the names I was so annoyed at their arrogance. * the VP guy could have had "Director" on his nametag, but again, im sure he will be in Orlando tomorrow. It was the two senior guns and a younger attractive female.

Actually, that same BS attitude is very strong at Ruger. I spent 4 days with the biggest dealers in the US, where we worked with manufacturers to project and order guns/etc for the coming year. In speaking with the a V.P. and national sales manager from Ruger, I made a very simple suggestion: Offer the MKIII pistol and 10/22 rifle with a factory threaded barrel. The response? Ruger Management: "Why would we ever do that" Me: "Because we sell a ton of this stuff, and 90% of it gets modified with new barrels so they can accept a suppressor" Ruger: Look at me like I just said "lets go kill some nuns" Me: "You know, like guys that want to purchase and own suppressors....you realize those are legal....right?" Ruger: "Yeah, that doesnt really fit with our philosophy. We dont really support our customers doing that sort of thing" Me: "Philosophy?" Ruger: "Yes. I dont think we want to be associated with that sort of thing" Me: "Look I dont know about your philosophy, im just telling you how you can sell some more f*cking guns" So yes, Bill Ruger's spirit is alive and well in AZ.

For the uninformed: "The best way to address the firepower concern is therefore not to try to outlaw or license many millions of older and perfectly legitimate firearms (which would be a licensing effort of staggering proportions) but to prohibit the possession of high capacity magazines. By a simple, complete, and unequivocal ban on large capacity magazines, all the difficulty of defining "assault rifles" and "semi-automatic rifles" is eliminated. The large capacity magazine itself, separate or attached to the firearm, becomes the prohibited item. A single amendment to Federal firearms laws could prohibit their possession or sale and would effectively implement these objectives." Bill Ruger March 30th 1989

Yeah. You're right. Rugers ROCK! And Bill Ruger was a great man, that was selfless, supported the gun industry, and was a champion of gun owners rights everywhere

  13. Ask Chance from Classic Arms (a member here) about the local Memphis C3 market. I know he has done quite a bit of research into this.
  14. Re: Storm Case Guys, FYI Pelican purchased Hardig/Storm case a few weeks ago. Reason? Storm Case has a better latching system, and Pelican knew it. Plan? Pelican cases will feature the Storm latches in the next 6 months (projected) We will be blowing Storm Cases out at amazing prices in about 30 days to start making room for the new Pelicans. More to follow...
  15. Good to see that while the Army has been busy fighting a war during OEF/OIF, that the Air Farce has time to not only worry about blogs, but takes the time to make a flow chart.
  16. Todd @ http://www.criticalincidentstrategies.com/ provides a very solid and non-tacti-ninja approach to the AR system.
  17. It was great meeting you today. Hope you enjoy your new LWRC!
  18. I think we should schedule a suppressor range/demo day this Spring. We have NEVER demo'd a suppressor to a serious customer that didnt end up buying one

  20. Here you go....Eddie. He's so hot! Eddie.....
  21. What did you get? Do tell!
  22. Yep. Eddie was at this shoot, but Oleg didn't have his "hottness" filter. Without this filter, Eddie's hottness would be so great that mortals like us wouldnt be able to see his pictures!
  23. Good one. Score one for Dan!
