  1. You are wrong. The Glock is cheaper than both. Furthermore, the OP wanted to trade a Glock for a Beretta or a 1911. Thats his decision to make. I was able to trade him a nice used stainless SA for his used Glock for zero dollars. I guess when you own a gunshop, you can send people away with boxes of 9mm ammo, but until then, I will do my best to satisfy the needs of my customers, regardless of personal opinion or bias.
  2. After looking at nice Beretta 92s and Rock Islands, we settled on a nice stainless steel Springfield GI
  3. It was nice meeting you today. Hope you enjoy your Springfield 1911
  4. I think there is some confusion here. FN-H has two families of pistols. FNP FiveSeven
  5. This is going to be a great event! Thanks to Len and David for getting the word out.
  6. Congrats!
  7. Kelly just said she loves Gus! Bring 'em on down!
  8. Thats a gas piston MRP, so they sell for around 1400.00 in a non-Chicken Little market
  9. Sorry for your loss Wayne. You and your family will be in my thoughts.
  10. Congrats. You got yourself a great deal there!
  11. .
  12. No real issues at all on rings. In fact, I have a set in the center console of my truck right now! (im serious)
  13. We have sold a ton of the 452/453 rifles. Amazing rifles, and easy to tune factory triggers.
  14. I dont think he knows, nor cares. Here is how impressed the industry is with his work: (yeah, his booth was really that dead every time I walked by!) SHOT Show 2009
  15. Meh. (not to be the gun snob...but) That collection isnt worth as much as it looks. I would take half that crap to the next gun show, sell it, and invest in some higher end firearms. But thats just me
  16. Congrats! Those are great little guns.
  17. No. Walk in customer, and not a member of TGO.
  18. Wow. that was fast! SOLD!
  19. Nighthawk Custom Talon II This gun took over 12 months to be completed! http://shop.hero-gear.com/product.sc?categoryId=10&productId=476
  20. Where do you "patrol" with your FAL? As far as length is concerned, I dont think anyone (including myself) is telling you what to buy or not to buy. The point was that had Kel-Tec gone with a 16" barrel on this particular rifle, it would have lost the very balanced feel it currently has, and would have felt "too short" I would suggest that you wait until you have a chance to put one of these in your hands rather than basing your opinions on 2D images found on the web and in print. There is a lot to be said about having hands on prior to deciding that something needs improvement or how something should have been engineered. And speaking of "short" .308s, here is my full auto 11" FAL
  21. If you strike out locally, I may be up at the Hamilton Place Mall this weekend. I would be happy to bring a wrench for you to borrow, or you can bring your rifle and I will tighten it there in the parking lot.
  22. Im sure they would be happy help you with a special order. They are good guys, and run a great shop. Most shops require some sort of deposit, unless they know you, know the item requested will sell if you back out, or are just all around trusting folks. (So dont be offended if they ask for a deposit)
  23. :poop: I would recommend the gold standard: Smith and Wesson J-Frame
  24. This rifle is VERY compact with it's 18" barrel and you wouldnt accomplish anything (except for loss of velocity) by going to an even shorter barrel. Anyone that thinks it needs to be shorter should wait until they actually have one in their hands to decide this, as you will be surprised how compact it really is.
