  1. New for 2009: Ed Brown Special Forces Black/Coyote finish We have several of these in stock, and this one will be shipped to one of our members (2000MZ3) in Florida tomorrow.
  2. FNAR rocks my face off. You need one!
  3. RIP. Thoughts out to his wife and family. Im surprised there are not more X-Games sport type deaths.
  4. Yes. I think I have 25-30 sets on order
  5. Tons (maybe 20k worth) of Magpul on order, including all the MOE stuff. I would have a better chance at picking a winning lottery ticket than predicting when Magpul will deliver any of it.
  6. Sexy
  7. Great video. I have seen it 233459 times, but its still a blast to watch. The sound is amazing! How do you know I DON'T drive that way through Winchester?
  8. I went with a tankless system this year and love it. (+) Endless supply of hot water Takes up way less space in your laundry room or garage More efficient that traditional tanks (-) Cost

  10. A quality suppressor for a Sig Mosquito would run you 250-350 on average. Can- 250.00 Tax- 24.00 Adapter- 35.00 Tax Stamp- 200.00 Pictures, fingerprints, postage- 20.00 Total cost to put a can on your existing Mosquito= 529.00 Resulting smiles? Priceless!
  11. Yeah, we do our best to keep them in stock. If you want one, I will just put your name on one, as we currently have maybe 6 left
  12. The kit consists of a new bolt and a magazine. You remove your BCG, install this new one, insert the dedicated magazine, and you are ready to go. I will take pictures of the kit tomorrow when I get to work to help you visual what I am talking about.
  13. TGO Benefactor price on the kit is 189.00 and we have had nothing but outstanding reviews on these.
  14. First of all, thank you for your service. (I assume you are are with the Rakkasans) As a fellow Servicemember (see avatar) nearing the end of his career, its so refreshing to see you young studs out there doing the do! Now, on to your question. 9mm is pretty cool to shoot suppressed, but keep in mind its not James Bond quite. Its a blast to shoot, but make sure you use the correct (subsonic) ammo. .22LR is what we call "stupid quiet" which means its so damn quiet, you may think its a toy. Here is a suggestion; buy a quality 9mm can, and set up multiple host guns: (Shooting .22LR through your 9mm can will still be very quite and very efficient) 9mm pistol (Tons of choices here) .22 LR pistol (Ruger MK or P22 series, Sig Mosquito) .22 LR rifle (Ruger 10/22 or similar) .22 LR AR (install a .22 conversion kit in your AR15/M4) Feel free to contact us down in Winchester. We speak your language, and will square you way. Joe
  15. I dont know if you ever got a proper welcome here, so WELCOME! So now that we understand that you are part of Ricks business and family, its easy to see why you would want to protect and defend him and his business. Want to REALLY help Rick? Spend some time on this forum and read ALL the posts regarding him. Read what people have to say about him, his business practices, how they feel ripped off by his prices, and all the other frustrations they have with this man and his political views. Now, don't waste your time posting in every anti-Rick thread, telling us how he loves puppies, and donates to the Red Cross. The members here won't buy it. What you CAN do is take these thoughts and opinions back to Rick, sit him down, and explain that he may want to address them in his business and life. Perhaps Rick is a super nice, pro-2A, generous man. But the overwhelming opinion here is that he is not. Good luck.
  16. Wow. 1. Slow down, take a deep breath, and compose your thoughts. 2. Are you saying you are engaged to someone that works for, or is related to Rick? If so, that sort of discounts the outstanding vote of confidence you have given him, so you are obviously very biased in this regard. Why do people hate Rick? Some of the reasons mentioned are: 1. He has has been quoted that he is in favor of closing the "gun show loop hole" Guess what? THERE IS NO LOOP HOLE! Most gunowners are pretty pissed that such a vocal and prominent figure in the firearms industry would be in favor of such gun legislation. 2. He is arrogant or a prick. Hey, if people have dealt with him and feel his is a prick, should they not be allowed to voice their opinion? 3. He is overpriced. Rick can offer his services at whatever rates he feels make the most sense. He can also price his inventory at any price he wishes. Its also the right of every potential customer to decide if those prices work for them. 4. He is a thief. I have no knowledge of this, and know nothing of his previous business endeavors. One last thing; if your girlfriend was working the booth at SHOT, and am truly sorry she spent so much time sitting there without anyone to talk to. I will alter the images per your request.
  17. I saw that! Go get some dirty ass pirates!
  18. What sort of help are you looking for? selecting parts? building the rifle? What configuration do you want your rifle in? Is there a rough budget you are trying to stick to? What is the role you see this rifle playing? Before I can give you any worthwhile and solid "help" its best if we find out exactly WHAT sort of help you need most. There are plenty of people here that would be willing to offer their assistance. Make sure you take all "advice" with a grain of salt, and be wary of someone that throws random build advice without first talking to you, listening to your needs (both operational and budget) first.
  19. (but its nothing you can't handle)
  20. Good luck with that... As a SSG, you will be a Squadleader or Platoon Sergeant in charge of 30+ stupid f8cking Privates. Hate to tell you, but they are going to wear your ass out!
  21. Wait. So she wasnt really under fire? Great auction.
  22. I think they would feel more comfortable working in East Nashville. Added: No support for a reality show here. I think I am pretty clear about the potential damages to our industry something like this may bring. But hey, if you guys are interested, I posted the contact info in a previous thread
  23. All in fun. Move along. Nothing to see here....
  24. Here is a picture of you guys on your 8th grade class trip Dude, (s)He is a keeper! You should have sealed the deal!
  25. Exactly. It was cool to know Hero-Gear was being considered for such a show, and believe me, we all were having a fun time thinking of the crazy things that may have been captured on film, but then reality set in. There is NO WAY the subjects of such as show will have any sort of editorial influence on this project. Lets face it, sex, drugs, danger, chaos, and drama sells on TV. We decided that the hard work we do supporting RKBA, and the positive image we work to built at Hero-Gear could easily be compromised in a vain attempt of chasing stardom. I spent hours on the phone with the producers, and while they seem to not have an anti-gun agenda, they ARE pro-ratings. Chasing ratings comes at a price, and we choose to not be a part of it. I hope that if this program is produced, it wont hurt the image of the shop selected, or worse, the image and perception of the responsible gun owners out there.
