Hey was looking for a pink Hi-Point 10mm
-
We have P30 and HK45 in stock
-
We sell plenty of Rugers, but I would say there are larger Ruger dealers in Middle TN than us. *We currently have 22/45, MKIII, Chargers, SP101, LCP, 10/22 in stock, with used Redhead and No 1 available as well.
-
Yeah, I've got around 100+ ARs in stock, and perhaps 300 lowers. We have guns from: Colt DPMS Smith and Wesson Armalite Stag Arms Bushmaster Remington Rock River Sabre Defence I would venture to guess that you can touch and feel more different brands/types of ARs at HG than anywhere in the state...

He needs to put the USP, USP-C, P2000, and P2000SK in his hand before he makes a purchase. Pricing ranges from 699-899 depending model and features. We have around 15 HK pistols in stock if your friend makes it to Winchester.

I also have a Perazzi MX2000 for those working with a smaller budget:) This will go for around 8k

TN House of Representatives Range Day: AEDC 2009
BimmerFreak replied to BimmerFreak's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
If this thread would be better served in the 2A forum, I am in favor of moving it. I will ask that posters show restraint and respect in regards to what they post about the persons featured in the pictures. The object of this thread is not "lets critique the shooting style" of our elected leaders, but to draw attention to the positive efforts of leaders like Judd Matheny as he works hard to educate his fellow Representatives in Nashville to the positive aspects of firearms ownership. In a time when all we hear about are more and more efforts to take away our Constitutional rights, its a welcome change to see people like Judd, Ronnie Barrett, and others working hard to make a difference. -
TN House of Representatives Range Day: AEDC 2009

I wouldnt be so quick to jump on these guys. Some of them came to us with little or no firearms experience. Our objective was to educate them to the positive aspects of firearms ownership, NOT turn them into steely eyed killers in one afternoon. So before any of the "experts" on here want to talk smack, lets slow down and look at this for what it is. *I can also guarantee that I can take each and everyone person here that is being critical of techniques and hurt their feelings out on the range, so lets not get too big headed here.... Exactly. These are very busy people that took a day out of their schedule to come down and learn about firearms. Lets give the members that participated some credit! Instead of sitting behind a desk in Nashville, they are taking time to go out and learn about issues they will be voting on. Party lines were left at the door, but I will tell you that there was active participation from Dems/Reps alike. -
Congrats! enjoy your new Smiff and Western

TN House of Representatives Range Day: AEDC 2009
BimmerFreak replied to BimmerFreak's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
We had a variety of "interesting" techniques demonstrated yesterday. We made every attempt to tactfully make recommendations or suggestions when appropriate -
The staff of Hero-Gear/Hero Guns spent yesterday on the range at Arnold Air Force Base to conduct firearms awareness training with many of our elected officials from Nashville. The annual event is organized by Representative Judd Matheny (Republican/47th District) http://www.juddmatheny.com/ was sponsored by Hero-Gear www.hero-gear.com and Barrett Firearms http://www.barrettrifles.com/ and conducted on ranges owned and maintained by the TN National Guard and Arnold Air Force Base. After welcoming comments and a range safety brief, about 75 of our elected officials, to include the Commissioner of Veterans Affairs, Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey, and the Speaker of the House were broken into groups of 25, escorted to 3 ranges where they were given capabilities briefs and demonstrations and were then allowed to fire a host of different weapons systems. Hero-Gear was responsible for running one of the 3 ranges, where we offered the opportunity to fire the: HK MP5, M4A1, FN P90, AK47, and several pistols and other assorted firearms. Overall, I was impressed with the pro-gun attitude from most of the shooters. Most had some firearms experience, while others had never fired a firearm in their life. With a 1/1 ratio, it allowed us plenty of time to explain just how important our 2A rights were, and how we were fortunate enough to live in a state where most of our Constitutional rights regarding firearms were still alive and had not been dealt away like they had been in other states. I was given a few minutes to address the group prior to the ranges going hot, and took the opportunity to explain how I had been raised in California, spent 20 years serving my country, returned to California only to be faced with the mess CA DOJ had made of my rights as a citizen. I let each and everyone there know just how important it was that we fight to insure that myself and my children would continue to have the rights and freedom of firearm ownership. A few pictures: Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey getting it done Me explaining to Lt. Gov. Ramsey how "...this P90 is one bad MoFo!) Me, Chris Barrett, Ronnie Barrett Chris Barrett "...have you told Lt. Gov. Ramsey what a bad MoFo this is?" Ronnie Barrett We also showed the our newest project: Momentum-Foundation The Momentum-Foundation is a 501©(3) non-profit which provides a low cost aviation asset to law enforcement in TN. www.momentum-foundation.org

Where to get a barrel cut and threaded?
BimmerFreak replied to pops572's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
In addition to the options mentioned above, I would add that Hero-Gear and Coal Creek Armory offer this service. -
Congrats Nate. That is quite the accomplishment. About 5 years ago every car I owned was financed, and I had around 40k in credit card debt that I had accumulated from excessive travel and the costs of moving from CA to TN. While not as painful or drastic as your plan, I did the following: Sold all of my expensive cars and paid off the loans Canceled all of my credit cards, and started paying 2X the monthly payment. I finished paying the CC debt off last year. I now follow two rules: No credit cards- I dont pay for anything on revolving credit. Don't finance toys- I have built back my car/toy inventory, but they have all been paid for with cash. If I have to finance it, I wont buy it.

I would be dealing off of invoice, not MSRP.

A newby needs help. Legitimate help.

1) Is my basic understanding correct? Yes. Steps to purchasing NFA items (Cliff Notes Version) 1. Find a NFA item you wish to purchase 2. Pay for it (most sellers require from 50 to 100% payment to start the paperwork) 3. Complete all required documents (Form 4, pics, sigs, prints, etc) 4. Completed Form 4 is sent to ATF-NFA with your check for 200.00 5. Wait. (90-120 days) 2) Is it possible to LEGALLY build an AR rifle into a full-auto weapon by purchasing parts and installing them? IE trigger group, bolt, etc. No. You can not, and should not "build" any title I rifle into a full-auto weapon. Is it physically possible? Yes. Will you go to prison if caught? Yes. a. If so, who would you recommend that I go talk to/work with on a LEGAL build? There are no new "builds" since the only select fire weapons available for you to purchase would have been made and registered prior to 1986. b. If not, who do you recommend I go talk to about the LEGAL purchase of a built rifle? Any experienced and qualified NFA dealer should be able to discuss your purchase options with you, identify the best item to match your budget, and source said item for you. *Expect to pay 10k+ for a legal select fire AR
