  1. Im running the PSD on one of my fullauto lowers. Here is a quick review: LWRC PSD Upper: Who knew 8" felt so good? PICTURE HEAVY - AR15.COM
  2. We have both Spikes and DPMS LPKs in stock as well.
  3. Both of those places suck the big one, but I would be happy to support your cause of packing while eating their sh*tty food.
  4. Looks fun. Did you transition because the the AK was black on ammo? I rarely take the time to critique "tactics" on the internet, but you may want to reconsider the full exposure when clearing/engaging the round plated bad guys in the doorway... Remember, train as you fight.
  5. Yeah. ARs are evil, and its better if less manufacturers offer them for sale. We dont need so many options. Consumers already have enough choices. Plus, when Washington goes after black guns in another AWB, the fewer manufacturers that build them, the fewer major industry opponents to a proposed AWB.
  6. Coolest chick ever!
  7. Man. I need to get more tactical!
  8. - 9 1911: Ed Brown Kobra Carry
  9. Nope. They are getting anodized. They will be in hand in about 10 days.
  10. 0311....what's that? cook?
  11. One word: ZOMBIES
  12. Want to have a say in the specs and configuration of these rifles? Come to our focus group! http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/hero-gear-llc/22732-hero-15-focus-group.html
  13. We are working on it. We will have prototypes in hand in about 30 days/
  14. More pictures: (less Hollywood, more candid) Long day shooting + Keg of beer + BATTLEMUG + good friends = Heaven! Hero-Gear crew or a bunch of convicts? you decide! "I just got a picture of Joe picking his nose!" Fire (lots of it) in the hole! Rod doing his best to get me sick
  15. You are correct, technically a CLEO should/shall sign off on your form unless they can provide documented reasons why you are not legally qualified to own an NFA item. The fact that you dated the Sheriff's little sister 20 years ago, and didn't call her after she gave it up on prom night doesnt give him a legal reason to not sign your application. (but you should have called her...lol) Keep in mind that the CLEO is not the approving authority, so unless he turns up REAL evidence that precludes you from ownership, he really doesnt have a choice in signing. Now, we both know that there are some CLEOs that are less than supportive of the NFA process. If you find yourself in this situation, the NFA trust may get your process started with less of a PITA factor. The trust will bypass the CLEO signature, but I think there is another much more valuable aspects by going this route. The trust allows you to add family members, corporate officers, and friends to the list of authorizes users of your NFA items. Want to let you Dad use your suppressor? no problem! Want your best friend to come pick up your full auto M16 and take it to the range? good to go! So, look at both routes and decide which one is best for your situation. *I know there are a ton of NFA owners that have secured the CLEO signature in Shelby County, so you should be good to go if you choose this route.
  16. Anyone recognize this ugly cuss? "Yeah, this RFB is pretty sweet, but it's no Tavor..."
  17. 100% Cotton Preshunk
  18. I think its important to promote MADE IN USA on all Hero-Gear branded items. This is a theme that is being carried through in everything we do, from BATTLEMUG, to our 1911 pistols and AR rifles, down to the tactical gear and bags I am designing. I have in my office (Verne saw it yesterday) a 3 day assault pack, full featured, all the cool-guy stuff, and MADE IN USA. I will put it against the 259.00 bag that Blackhawk makes in China/Pakistan/Hadji-stan and the 200.00 bag that 5.11 makes in Vietnam. So, better materials, USA, and a projected MSRP of 129.00 each! I am trying to refine the statement, but the hang tags will say something to the effect of "Homeland Security starts keeping our jobs in America"
  19. DGI to start. If you have read my review and thoughts on GP vs. DGI, you would know how I feel...
  20. We are working on finalizing the OE specs, and once that is complete, we will starting nailing down retail prices. I am thinking of hosting a focus group, which would allow end users to give suggestions/bitchings/gripes/moans about what they like, dont like, want, dont want in a higher end rifle. I think my crew is pretty dialed into what works and what WE like, but I want to listen to "the people" and make sure we arent standing too close to the fire on this one. My initial thoughts are to pull around 20 people for this focus group. I would pull 1/3rd from ARFCOM TN Hometown, 1/3rd from TNGunOwner.com, and 1/3rd from LE, OGA Operator types, and Current and prior 75th Ranger and SF communities. Thoughts?
  21. Yeah, David is pretty consistent. I hate him in person and online
  22. My office looks similar, but I have a whole wall of Hi-Points, Lorcins, and Ravins
