I think that as this forum grows, we will need to look at more rules to keep the classifieds more manageable. We are a small and somewhat self governed community at this point. * Right now there are 98 people viewing TGO vs. 2463 currently viewing ARFCOM. While I dont think its an issue now, I do think that we need to be prepared to implement changes as our membership grows. I think by Shawn offering these ideas, it shows that we need to be looking ahead and be ready for future growth.

No, I can't (and neither can any other 02 SOT for that matter) To qualify as an AOW, you must build said AOW on a virgin receiver. What I CAN do is receive it from you, build it into an SBS for you, mark it HERO GUNS WINCHESTER, TN. and transfer it back to you on a Form 4.

Sorry to hear about your situation. It amazes me the risk people will accept just to save a few bucks. There are a half dozen Kimber Master Dealers on this board. There are about the same amount of quality gunsmiths here that could have done this work for WHILE YOU WAITED... Not to be a dick, but you should have supported your local gunshops and gunsmiths...

Better check your facts Counselor... Florida Law has NOTHING to do with how many stamps will need to be paid to get this suppressor out of State. As mentioned before: Dissolving Corp/Legal entity will need to transfer NFA item to a SOT in his state (200.00) SOT then transfers (on Form 3, so no tax paid) to another SOT out of state. New owner completes Form 4 (200.00) at SOT, and waits for stamp to come in. ** If you can prove me wrong, I welcome it. We have a similar situation dealing with a NFA Trust out of Florida involving some machineguns, and my being wrong will save us a ton of money...

Run, don't walk from that deal. 1. There are very few transferable AK's available for civilian ownership, and all will run your 15k + 2. Even if the seller removed the select fire trigger/sear, there would still be holes in the receiver from the auto sear, which will get you the exact same felony as having the sear installed.
