  1. Who makes that holster for your 26?
  2. Just starting the long journey myself...I will have been married 1 month on the 30th.
  3. I'm sure you have, but go talk to the folks at the Maury County Airport in Mt. Pleasant. They might be able to use some help...last I had heard they didn't have a full time mechanic down there. (my dad and I have an Aztec there)
  4. Well this beauty was my first ride and my baby... But now this is what gets me around...it's not as pretty but it rides much better and is far more practical.
  5. Please post pics if you do! haha
  6. Thanks for all of the post guys....i knew there had to be few folks on here that liked this kind of stuff. Bill, thanks for the sound advice on relationships haha. And Jhatmaker i appreciate that offer a lot. I might have to take you up on that someday. Thanks again to all. -Timothy
  7. Yea, we live down towards the boro also. And, I also work all during the week so the weekends would be our only possibility to get out on the water. But i'll PM you sometime if we do decide to try it out.
  8. My fiance and I like the outdoors and I have recently started looking into kayaking. I have very limited knowledge of the sport but think that we would enjoy some sort of sit-on-top tandem. The one I keep going back to is the Pelican APEX 130T DLX. In my head it seems like it would be lots of fun to go paddle around the backwater areas of Percy Priest for the day. So finally to the question; does anyone here do any kayaking of this sort and what kind of things should I know to watch out for? Thanks guys and gals.
  9. Yea...i love the Supertuck i have for my Glock 26...most comfortable and concealable for me.
  10. If you venture down to Murfreesboro, Bell Jewelers is a good place. Friendly folks and decent prices. I ended up buying my fiance's ring from a place in Columbia called Helm's...nice place as well.
  11. Hmm...a Ruger EBR...saving my pennies as we speak!
  12. So i'm obviously missing something...what's this new bill?
  13. Thanks for the lead on Hidden Holsters...look like quality work in both places. And by the way JHatmaker, i saw the pics of the new Rohrbaugh...very nice man...congrats.
  14. I've been eyeing their products for my NAA .32acp and they look like a good quality product...does anyone have any experience with them? Meco Pocket Holsters - Handmade Leather Pocket Holsters
  15. I have a Glock 26 that i carry IWB in a Supertuck and love it, but for a pocket gun I recently bought a North American Arms Guardian 32acp that i'm really happy with. Sure its not a 38spl +p, but it's much better than a pocket full of rocks and suprisingly accurate at 7 yards or so.
  16. Haha...yea that's what I hear!
  17. Wow! That's great....I'd rather not wait quite that long, but maybe now the wait is a little less...I may have to give those guys a call to see how many people would be ahead of me. Thanks for the heads up.
  18. I believe Hero Gear can put you on a waiting list and they have a good price. I've heard the Outpost Armory has some in stock but theyre a little out of my budget...and I don't mind to wait for a better price. Thanks to all for your responses.
  19. That's what I need to do probably....I was just being lazy and wondering what everyone else had experienced...
  20. Yea, I know basically no one has any in stock,...but thats ok with me,...I'd gladly wait a couple weeks to get one at a good price.
  21. I would be happy to find that price....where was that?
  22. I'm considering an LCP for a pocket carry gun when I can't conceal my Glock 26. It's not a necessity so i'm not willing to take a huge hit for one, especially when I've read that some people are paying slightly over 300 for one out the door, while other gun stores list them in the low 400's before taxes and fees. So...my question is, has anyone recently done any trading with a gun store (or pawn shop) who had good prices on these little guns? Thanks in advance.
  23. Called last monday 4/6 and recieved yesterday 4/14!! Took about 75 days from application to permit in hand (mostly because I didn't know about "the call").
  24. New to this forum and it's a great resource. After reading this thread I made "the call" this morning...a nice lady there told me that I was approved and that she just needed to issue it out. 7-14 days....same story as everyone else basically. I'm excited to get it but at the same time it's a little irritating when you've waited patiently only to discover that a simple 30 second phone call makes things happen. Regardless...i'm very excited! Oh and I applied on January 28th....hopefully i'll see it by the end of the week.
