Those are nice looking holsters and that front loop attachment point is a unique idea - thanks for the tip.

Thanks...that's good to know. Something about that holster just works well for me and at the end of the day that's what it's all about.
-
I'm not sure but based off of what others say it sounds like it would probably shift a little. The only experience I have with anything similar is a bare asset from High Noon for my Glock 26...it moved a little but nothing that seemed unsecure.

Anybody have any experience with one of these? http://www.desbiensgunleather.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/IMG_11432.jpg It's a Desbiens Gunleather IWB #6.
-
I might do that - thanks

Doesn't look too large though...well no larger than a supertuck or other variant I guess. Nice work though

gregintenn - that's a nice looking setup. I like the way most of the gun is below your belt line, is that custom made? KahrMan - how do you like that sheep skin? seems it would be a little bulky and maybe a little hot too Thanks for the good suggestions though guys - we're definitely on the right track now

Thanks...i'll look into both of those. Has anyone ever used a Crossbreed or Comp Tac for a j frame? I have a supertuck for my G26 and it's the best IWB I have, but I didn't know how it the revolvers rode in the those holsters.

Recently I purchased a Galco Royal Guard IWB for my S&W 442 thinking I was going to really like it but as holster buying sometimes goes, it was a completely wrong fit for me. I'm a pretty thin guy (6', 150lbs) and I don't know if that had something to do with it, but for whatever reason it seems the holster doesn't sit low enough into my waistband and the grip of points way out from my body...not good. So now I'm left with trying to sell the Galco (not returnable unfortunately) in order to fund the purchase of a more suitable option (see my ad in the "Gear Classifieds" section). So, I'd really like to hear suggestions from you fine folks on a good IWB that holds the weapon nice and tight to you. Maybe something that puts the cylinder below the belt line. Preferably kydex to save on the thickness. Thanks in advance.

My vote is for "other"; j frame. I had a NAA 32acp Guardian and it was a great little gun, but I replaced it with a S&W 442 and I love it. I now have the power of a 38 special but can still drop it in my front pocket and go. It's larger for sure, but still very concealable because of it's shape. Just my opinion though! Good luck.

Carrying a .32 for self-defense

I carry a NAA Guardian in 32 acp quite often. It serves its purpose very well in my front pocket...most of the time in a Galco pocket protector. -
My first OWB kydex project - Glock 19

I'm a slim guy (6ft, 140-ish) and I carry a G26 in a Crossbreed Supertuck at about 5 o'clock and it works really well for me with out much change in what I wear. I will say that I cannot tuck a shirt in over it without looking kinda funny just because of the extra thickness in my back at my waistband. I've never had the 19 to compare to though so i'm not sure what kind of improvement that might be.

Today's the NAA .32 in the front pocket...simply disappears in jean pockets. -
That's kind of the way I'm leaning right now too... Thanks for the advice guys.

I'm really pleased with the NAA and would keep it and add to the collection if money was no issue. However...i'm sure the wife would be more receptive to the idea of a "trade" situation. I don't really know much about the P238 or the LCR, but i'll look into them both. I do like the idea of 38spl +p in the LCR, it's just a little bit of a larger gun than i can probably pocket carry in my work clothes. These are all good suggestions though....xd shooter and SavageSig i'll keep you both in mind...thanks.

I'm needing some help on this one. I have a North American Arms .32acp that i bought earlier this year for a 'carry when i can't carry' gun and it's perfect for that. It's also suprisingly accurate (for a pocket auto) and seems to be a real quality piece for the cost and size. However, now that the price of LCP's has finally dropped to near their actual MSRP, i'm kind of back to wanting one. I really like the idea of having a slightly larger caliber. So my question is; if you were in my position, would you keep the NAA or go with the LCP? Thanks for the help!

Great pictures...I used to dream of flying a twin otter in the USVI for Seaborne Airlines down there...always seemed like a fun way to spend a few years...maybe someday still.
-
Nice...i'd like to give that a shot someday. But like you say, its pretty pricey.

A bunch of pilots on here, huh? Very cool...I am myself as well. On topic (sorta), I saw the Kodiak at Oshkosh too last week,...very nice! I have to say though, if i could have taken anything home with me from their it would have definitely been the Grand Caravan that Cessna had displayed...lovely! In real life though, I fly a '71 Aztec...it's really turned out to be a nice airplane for us.

I bought one for my Glock 26 earlier this year and have been really happy with it.

I'm wearing my G26 in my Supertuck as I type and I never even think about the safety (or lack there of) issue anymore. Just a little common sense safety practices and you'll fall in love it with i'm sure...congrats.
