I then loaded my gun, placed it back on my hip and took the wife and granddaughters out to supper @ Ruby Tuesdays. Nothing happened while we were out (thank God) and it's a good thing. While I was tinkering the label fell off the boresighter and lodged into my chamber. My slide would not close (almost but no cigar), had to dig it out with a pair of needle nose pliers:rolleyes:. Let my mistake be a lesson for everyone, always make sure your gun is operational after working on it or you could be left with a poorly designed club.

Yea, one of the waiters (who knows I normally carry) asked me once (during the time when no carry allowed) when he saw the bottom of my holster "Is that your gun?" Of course the holster was empty but if I had been carrying, no one would have said anything. (unless a cop was to walk in and see it).

It's the same stupid sign that is put up by corporate when the building is built. I have spoken to the franchise owner and we are welcome there but due to franchise rules he has to leave the sign there. Of course where it's at 95% of the people have never even seen it.
