  1. :stunned::stunned::stunned:Wow. I can't beleive the turn this thread has made. Never been to gunny's but have been to frontier (if it the one in Kingston off 356A). very cramped, had a lot of selection, but at the time didn't have what I had been hunting for. Seeing this additude come out here I think I'll stick to All American Guns here in Athens, They have treated me right every time I go in. And have been able to find most anything I wanted. This is unbelieveable for a business owner to speak to a customer or potiential customer in such a manner. I'm slef employed and if I did that to even 1 customer I'd be screwed much less potientially 9000:screwy::screwy:
  2. Ture, however I have no way of knowing when it was made. Everything I have has date codes of 94-96 on them. (all the paperwork in the box where it was tested by the exporter)
  3. Thanks. Looks like the Walther P1 is not on the list.
  4. How do I tell if a gun is on the C&R list (or is there a list). I have a pistol that someone wants me to ship to him (he is a C&R) but I don't know the rules and have no idea of when the gun was made. Thanks,
  5. No 18 bucks won't make or break a deal for me. And I'm self employed so I understand having to make a profit (even a small one). If it's a gun you like and want I say buy it. Support your local gun stores when you can for if they all close up shop where would we be?
  6. I had a LCP, good gun. Mine shot good but fell in love with the trigger on the TCP. I actually traded my LCP to my son straight up for a Keltec 380, then traded it and some cash for a TCP. Made my son happy, made me happy, made the gun store happy, everybody was a winner. LOL
  7. Anything that goes bang.
  8. My thoughts exactly.
  9. Don't know how many rounds but my daily carry is a M&P 40C. They are great guns.
  10. Just so you know, unless you have the "license" for that you can't carry it. It's stupid, but even with a HCP you can't carry a baton unless you have the required training and license.
  11. Why? you do know he is fixing to loose it and taking all the bunnies with him.
  12. When my son's did that it was the control box for the heater/ac. Do the lights flash on the panel or does it take a min for the blower to start? Those are 2 symptons of a bad module.
  13. Wow, interesting read. My eyes thank you for enlarging it.
  14. Don't you mean microscope? Dang that's some small print. I ain't even gonna try to read that.
  15. this time we are in agreement. (oh boy you better mark this on your calander). If you don't know what you are doing don't muck it up.

    New?

    Damn, thats messed up.
  17. Adding a grip to the front of a pistol make sit an AOW and you must pay a tax fee on it.
  18. Agreed.
  19. Serengeti's. You can catch them at wal mart for around 99 on sale. Just don't buy the "framless" ones, you will be forever tightening screws. I used to use the el cheapos also, I love my Serengeti's even if I have to tighten the screws all the time (now you know how I know).
  20. I like it also. Seems to be mucho grande faster.
  21. Just a sub 2000 in 40 with 6 15 round mags. Going to have a 38 with shot shells in it just as soon as I find some shot shells to buy. Ran into a snake at a customers house the other day, when I told the homeowner he asked if I shot it. Told him nope, didn't have anything to shoot it with that would not leave very big holes in his garage. Talk about the deer in the headlights look LOL.
  22. I carry OWB, most of the time it's a S&W M&P40C, however the last few weeks I have been carrying a Beretta Cougar 8045, which is a BAG , I am in peoples homes and businesses on a daily basis. Here is a run down of my last 3 encounters: 1 Installing alarm for hospital dialasis center, Main man walks up to me and asks " Didn't know your job required a firearm". (That was said in a joking manner) 2 Man who inhertited old customers house calls up, wants a cell backup for his alarm. I go in, he looks at my son and asks "What are you carrying" my son answers and he says "Nice gun" he didn't even notice mine. 3 At hospital, installing access control keypad. Chief maintenance guy walks up and says "still packing?" So I said yep, wheres yours. His boss was standing there so he didn't answer. LOL. Here is my take: For the most part, here in Tennessee, folks don't care if you are carrying as long as you don't look and act like a banger or a utter dip wad. I have been asked to remove mine once, I was working on a new house (note still under construction), and the contractor was using quite a few non american workers. Must have scared the crap out of them because the contractor went to the owner and complained that his workers were..... Well the owner came to me and asked me to leave mine in the truck. I said no problem. placed it in the truck, went back to work and sometime during the day I must have said something wrong because most everybody left. All I said was where is ICE? I mean it was a hot day and I didn't want my drinks to get hot.
  23. LOL. Now thats funny.
  24. They haven't been able to do it in 130 years so they don't know how to handle it.
  25. I love fried turkey, but my wife can't make her famous dressing with the juice form a fried turkey so I don't get to make one. I can tell you that the "wet marinades" are great, I use a buter creole one and in a 18 to 22 lb turkey I use about 2 bottles. (shhhhhh) and it comes out juicy and tender. Yes if you are keeping the oil it need to go into a "light" protected container. I lost 4 gal of once used oil because I didn't.
