  1. Thanks everyone.
  2. Thank you.
  3. Thanks to all.
  4. Thanks, we appreciate it.
  5. My son's wife just passed away, some type of seizure. Please pray for comfort and understanding for him, and her family.
  6. Nope, what he did wrong was excessive force since he basically went past the "stop the threat" requirement. I sit here all the time with the intention of stopping someone from coming in my house, am I expecting them? No. But you can cool believe one thing, if they show up here intending on doing my family harm (which I assume if they come in my house if I'm home) it will not end well. They might live but only if they stop after the first shot (and I mean stop trying to come in, not stop moving).
  7. Knew this was going to happen. He did wrong and now has to pay for it.
  8. Where did you get that?
  9. Fugates is also an indoor range, very nice folks to deal with.
  10. Love my Bunn, hot coffee in 3 min. They go bad too but the one I'm using is close to 10 years old (I think)
  11. Telling me to choose one child over another is a recipe for a fight. Sure if it'd been real I might have gotten a bullet to the head but I would have tried something. Of course that said, they wouldn't be able to get the jump on me, too many guns, too close, with an overwhelming desire to protect my family, I'd been shoting at them before they got 1 step in my house. The more I think about this video the more I get pissed.
  12. That's just wrong on so many levels. I might have died but I know what would have tried to do.
  13. I carry 24/7, I did have to disarm today to go to a school but other than that I'm strapped
  14. Prayers for the family.

  17. Late to the party as usual, what happened?
  18. Athens is a small community, but situated halfway between Knoxville and Chattanooga. There are some very nice subdivisions around and you can go from living "downtown", to living secluded. I am not a member of chilhowee rod and gun club, but they do have a nice pistol range, rifle range, skeet range and lake for fishing. They even have archery. I do work in Crossville, and they do not seem to be as friendly as Athenians. But I could be biased. :D
  19. Yea, I got a 380 in my safe I got from mike357. It's worth about 50 bucks on a good day. No more.
  20. Prayers sent for both family's.
  21. Yes, opens next month I think
  22. Welcome to TGO, from another Athenian.
  23. So Ted, I guess it's true from your reaction.
