  1. Lost my dad in 2010. It never gets easier. There are things I wished I had done and thing I did that I wished I could take back. I did inherit 3 of his rifles, they are locked away in a safe to pass along to my children when I go. Sorry for your loss, it is a burden we all will have to bear I'm afraid.
  2. Holy thread resurrection, batman
  3. No pictures since it's long since gone, but I had a 70 cougar xr7 that was a "family" car. Long story but everyone in the family owned it at our end time or another. My sisters husband blew it up in 78, she was bartenders in Florida at the time and one of her customers offered to "repair" it. Kind of an understatement since he owned his own racing team. This car has outrun more cops that I can count on both hands but not by me (I'm not that brave). Anyway once it was passed down to me. I was running down a hwy in eastern north Carolina running about 100 and my brother dares me to kick it. The dang thing picked up the front wheels. Scared the crap out of me. I babied it for the rest of the time I owned it, had a couple of run ins with the law but nothing major, other than a state trooper telling me he sure was glad I didn't run cause he didn't have enough car to catch it. Got on hard times and sold it, told the guy who bought it to change the oil before trying to drive it home but he didn't listen and blew it up before he made it home. I hated that.
  4. Just got a call from my son in law. Apparently dish got hacked and they ain't telling anyone. Go change all your passwords and secret questions. NOW

  6. I would suggest a security company. We're used to crawling around in attics and under houses all the time. If I was closer I'd come take a look for you.

  10. I'm just waiting for them to do like north Carolina, if you let your insurance lapse over there they will come take your tag off your car. I hope they start doing that here. Too many backwoods idiots that think they don't have to have insurance.
  11. In 1977 I would have and the hotswitch for her if I hadn't already fell in love with my soul mate. As it is I always thought she was a very pretty woman and always liked watching movies she was in. Rip Carrie

  20. Where in NC?
  21. My strategy is not to use a public restroom unless it's a freaking emergency. even then I don't get into a sitting position unless I'm home. and yes, I've left the house at 6am and not made it back until 9pm and never had the overwhelming urge. my dad was anot ironworker and we'd get into the car and the only time he stopped was or fuel so early training to control my body helped.
  22. You can be fired in Tennessee for breathing wrong. they don't need an excuse to terminate anyone. that said I'd tell them to pound sand. it's non of their business if you have a hcp or if you have a firearm in you car.
  23. Dang hope they had all the good stuff locked up in a safe
  24. Great. I've been quit since 92
