any handgun transaction between any other state HAS to go through a FFL or it's a violation of Federal law. It's even illegal for you to go there or the other person to go to your state so just pay a FFL to do the transfer and be done with it.

As stated before I always hand the officer my DL and my HCP at the same time so there is NO question. I look at it like this, they have a job to do and if I make their job any easier by letting them know I am one of the good guys (no I'm not looking for any favors) then maybe they will be a little more at ease when dealing with me. You should read the email I got from GOA. They are basiclly calling this bill the end of gun ownership. I have read all I can find on it and I do think that GW will sign it.
