  1. You can carry a gun on any school property any where in the state of TN, as long as you do NOT touch it while on their property. I work quite a bit on school property and I lock it in my gun safe I keep behind my seat. I always take it off before I get to the school and close the safe door as I enter the property. I also take the safe with me to the motel room and take it out when I leave. I say get a lockable safe, bolt it down in the trunk if you like, place your gun in it BEFORE you get to the property and shut up about it.
  2. I've got 1 in 9mm, brand new in the box. Are you interested in buying it?
  3. The reason for that is sin, we actually were created to be good, in fact we were created in His image so we were without sin. Sin was introduced by Eve (dang women always starting somthing) (JK). and we have be dieing of sin since. So yes man is basicly evil and always looks to the bad. There are those of us who try to do right, and I would like to think there are actually more of us doing good than there are those doing bad.
  4. I carry everyday as well as having something close to me at all times. And I'm not paranoid, but that don't mean they are not out to get me. LOl. Serously, I exersize my rights every place I can.
  5. Mine has hers as well. As little as she is it looks a little funny when she puts her "lady Smith" on and heads for the door.
  6. Safes are just lines with sheet rock, it is a fire retardant alone. You could build a room, put 3 layers of sheetrock up and seal the room and unless the walls around collapse or the fire started in the room it is pretty well safe. Now as far as moving a safe, it's pretty easy as long as everything is on 1 level. Take it off the palet it comes on, place pieces of 3/4 in PVC pipe under it and roll around to where you want it.
  7. Rabbi won't be back until the 9th. At least I hope he will be back.
  8. I want one of those for my SKS also, Waiting on word.
  9. Fivestring, Want a free gmail account? I've got one now and get all my emails.
  10. Yes, God bless this great nation and help her to return to her once proud heritage. I probally won't get to do the fireworks thing. I'm going to be working or driving most of the day.
  11. Broke open the box at the range, so it had to be from REM. I just wonder if it was over charged? that 6.8 seems to move the bullet down range a heck of a lot quicker. I don't know I got it off someone here at TGO. Best deal I have made. I'll pull it out tomorrow and see what markings are on it.
  12. Well finally got to shoot my 6.8SPC ar that I put together (can't say built, pulling 2 pins and snapping the thiing together does not make me a builder). Got to the range, pulled out my brand new box of REM 6.8SPC ammo, loaded up 10 rounds, sighted the target and went to town, first shot dead on, second shot, nothing, just a click. i look at the gun, the breach is closed, nothing wrong that I can see, wait about 2 min holding the muzzle down range and finally eject the round (out of a brand new box of 6.8's, remember that?) and it's a stinking .223. Now I got nothing against a 223 / 556. I happen to own 2 more ar's in 223 and 2 pistols in 223. Teh old man that was shooting beside me just horse laughed. I must admit after I discovered the wrong roun d I was pretty happy that there was nothing wrong with my gun. Now for more observations, that thing is a tack driver. it shoots better than I can. of course a good scope might have helped, all I had in my range bag was one of those ecotech clones. Well off to find more 6.8 and better hearing protection.
  13. This is by far the most informative and helpful site I lurk around.
  14. All of them bug me, I have been through more background checks for my business and the HCP and the only restriction I feel is halfway ok is the Federal building thing, except for the post office crap, the post office is not federal property, thew area where the employee's work is. But because of the dumba$$ way the law is interpeted I'll go to jail for carrying right inside the door to check my P.O. Box.
  15. I may be mistaken but I thought it was 4. And all we really have to do is get our side to grow a backbone and not vote him for speaker again.
  16. It was doing it to me as well. I may not have gave it a good clean/lube when I did mine. I'll take it out and shoot it some more and take it from there.
  17. Well just got back from the range, mine feeds great. My wifes jams a little.
  18. What did you have to give him for it?
  19. Wow, I know there are a few that are carrying in a Bianchi "carrylock" holster. That's what I carry in.
  20. Good luck my friend, and Thanks for doing it right.
  21. Dang I'm smarter than I thought, (or at least smarter than everyone gives me credit for). I got 100%.
  22. I didn't get to see it, and somehow I'm glad I didn't. Call me old school, call me crazy but the one thing that will get you planted (and I do mean 6 ft under) is to harm a child an d let me find out about it and find you. Heck, I've seen the AFV videos of parents letting their children run into a mailbox or bush or some other crap and they think thats funny, NOT. We as parents are here to PROTECT children, and not necessarily only our own. I'm sorry I'm ranting, but this crap burns me up and you know they will get off with a slap on the wrist and maybe nothing else.
  23. Now ya know when you get them in I need one.
  24. I have my DVr set up to record just in case.
  25. Had any rust issues?
