  1. Time for a phone call.
  2. ROTFLMAO!!!! Yea it shifts some.
  3. I bought 4 of them once. Thought I got a good deal but they are not that good. Cable is cheap made, and the one for a "medium" sized gun will not hold a medium sized gun. If you got a pocket gun get the medium, if you have a medium sized gun get the large. If you have a large, you are SOL. Bolt it down, I can get it open in 30 seconds or less Use the cable, I can get it in 10 seconds. Now, if you bolt it down "under" something (out of sight) then it probally will be ok. Something else, they are not "quick access" I have placed my key in the hole and turned it only to find out my gun shifted and was stopping the lock from turning, if it had been bolted down I'd be screwed or screwed out of a lock box.
  4. Maybe it was a gay chipmunk. :DROTFLOL
  5. Mine was picked up on the 17th and got them both back today (would have been yesterday if I had been here). So no they are no holding to the 2 week turn around. They seem to be repairing them the same day they get them or the next day. Send it in no worries. They are taking care of business.
  6. Merry Christmas to you as well.
  7. Seems no one else is gonna ask so I have to. How in the world do you open a beer bottle with a bic lighter?

    Ruger LCP Recall

After chasing UPS (don't ask) around I finally got mine and my wife's. To bad its raining.
  9. If you are serious, money talk, bs walks. Serioulsy I had decided to keep it but would sell it if someone wanted it bad enough.
  10. You can't post for sale adds until youv'e been here 30 days and have 50 posts. It's a rule to cut down on the spammers. However I thnk becomming a benifactor negates this requirement. What kind of 17 hmr are you looking for?
  11. My wife and I decided not to spend a bunch on each other this year, so we pooled our Christmas money and bought Christmas for someone who was not going to have one.

    Ruger LCP Recall

Cool. I think mine tried to come home today as well but I was OOT so all I got was a stupid sticker.
  13. Me too, and now to top it off I was left a UPS signature required tag on my door today.
  14. Unless it's listed as a pistol, I think it would bew a violation of the law. I'm not sure but I did ask the question about a receiver that I bought as a rifle recevier and wanted to make an Ar pistol. Said it was a big NO NO. Someone with more knowledge (AKA FFL) will be along to give correct info.
  15. Yea you do.
  16. Tell me about it, I traded off a Colt Defender, been kicking myself for that on for a while. Got rid of a colt mustang. Eh, no biggie, wasn't fond of it. I sure am glad Ruger had a recall on the LCP's or I could have made a mistake.
  17. I haden't used my Colt Pony in a while so I figured I'd sell it here. Well it was either too high (no body said so) or just no one has expendable cash right now. Well tonight I got it out to carry as my bug until my LCP gets back and discovered (or should I say rediscovered) that I really, really like this gun. So I have removed it from the chopping block. This is one time that "sellers remorse" didn't get me. I have sold a few that I regretted, none that I really got upset over, just regretted selling. I'm glad I won't have sellers remorse over this one. Just wanted everyone to know why it suddenly disappeared.

    Ruger LCP Recall

Was it delivered back top via ups?
  19. That's me, too fat for IWB carry. LOL. OWB for me all the way, Bianchi Carrylock, pulls it up nice and tight.

    Wood AR15

I am very interested in something like this, I would however like a more blond wood.
  21. This I'm not worried about. Eveybody knows who I am and what I'm doing there so "seeing a holster" should not be a problem.
  22. Well in my uneducated opinion, it will make a great backpack gun, Ie taking small game in order to survive. It does not appear to be built to withstand long range sessions. I figured I would take it out and put 4 or 5 mags through it and clean it and put it in my bug out bag. That way If I get caught out and need to make a meal I will have a better chance.
  23. Got a new Henery Survival Rifle today. Man that thing is neat. Looks like the perfect "backpak" gun.

    Ruger LCP Recall

Ok, I got both my packages in, 2 questions. 1st how do you get anyone to answer the dang phone? and 2nd, can I send both back in the same box?
  25. This is an interesting discussion, however I thought I was clear on "school property" until I read this stuff here. I was under the impression that if you didn't touch it or let anyone else touch it then it was ok to have it in the car. I do a lot of work on school property and always disarm before getting to the property and lock them in my portable safe. They are not touched again until I'm off the the school property. Clarification of this is very important to me since I am on school property quite a lot. I will tell you this, when I disarm I do not take off my holster, and during the course of the work it has become "exposed" to teachers, maintance men, SRO's (School resource officers) and the like. No one has ever said anything.
