  1. Well I've been reading this since you posted the other day. With work and family I read when I can. That is a wild story and pretty accurate to since I'm from around New Bern and Havelock area I know some of the area described in the story. The person who wrote this needs to get it published.
  2. Ya never did say what it cost:rolleyes:
  3. Now you need that alarm system.
  4. I wanna know how much they were. I only own 1 sig, maybe it's time to enchance the collection.
  5. Well yea it is hard to tell those little angels no but sometimes you gotta.
  6. What did the dealer say about the insurance?
  7. Only if they are not properly brought up. I raised my kids and never once had to "correct" them in public. They knew if they acted up I would remain calm, take them home and take my belt to the seat of the problem. I have 2 wonderful grand children they also will not act up in public (in my presence anyway). When my oldest grand daughter was 4 or 5 (the worst "I WAnt" age) I could go into any store and she would stay right with me and if she found something she wanted she would bring it to me and ask if she could have it. If I told her no, then she put it back on the shelf and that was the end of it. So "all" toddlers are not the same. remember that next time you are out and you see one actually behaving.
  8. I had about given up. Pm me your address and it's yours. Free of charge. Call it a pay it forward.
  9. To put it plainly, he was an ass.
  10. Don't know about that, but I have a cousin working there and I know they (he works security) carry big ole m-16 type guns. I wouldn't take any chances since it's (even though it's "private" owned) considered a federal facility.
  11. Wow, That will make you pay attention while assembling your gun.
  12. Bryan, Not sure but it looks to me the release lever is in the "up" position. Unless you can get it to go down I'm afraid a gunsmith of return trip to the mother ship is in order.
  13. Are you looking fro a "belly band", the elastic style with the "holster" sewn into the material? What size waist? I have 1 that I would be willing to send you FREE, if it's what you are looking for.
  14. Mike, it dosen't. However the OP is working at TVA, if it even looks out of place it will give cause to search the car. Take a chill pill dude. Did you ever think Mike didn't read ALL the info before he offered a suggestion? Good grief, sometimes I wonder about some of the people around here.
  15. They make it, I'm not sure on the part number, I had one when I had my XD40c, I'll look around and see if I can figure out which one fits.
  16. Cool Now I'm dumbfounded, I copied and pasted thsi from your post and it works. But if I caopy it to my hard drive I can't post it back here. What am I doing wrong?
  17. Where do you find those wonderful smileys?
  18. I tell eveyone get the Bianchi "carry lock" holster. You can get paddle or belt loop. I never liked the "thumb break" holsters but love the carry lock. You still use your thumb but there is nothing in the way when you want to reholster.
  19. Most of the time the local cop shop will run it for you. BUT they want the gun in their hands while doing so. That way if it comes back stolen then they have recovered it. If you go to the cops with your friend and ask them to run it they should. If your friend shys away from this suggestion then run like heck away from the deal.
  20. Don't forget the Iver Johnson pony that your sis in law snagged before you got your hands in it.
  21. Now that is cool. There was about 6 on it a few min ago. Now there is 3.
  22. The lot policy might not but their insurance will if you push the issue. I was having my work trailer repaired (tree damage), and they called me. It seemed someone had broken into the trialer, destroyed the alarm, and made off with about $3500.00 in tools. The repair shop's insurance company ponied up and paid to have my stuff replaced. Go back to the repair shop, speak with the manager. Their policy may not help but they have to have insurance and it will.
  23. I am inthe market for a new set for the boss lady, please pm me and explain the probems you are having.
  24. Happy new year folks. Hope God blesses each and every one of you in this next year.
