  1. Yea and Nafaei ain't helping.
  2. Me too, I think it has to do with the fact that nasville is 1 hr behind us.

    My New Avatar?

Exactly, I have only 1, I've had it since I was 16 and did it myself while sitting on the railroad tracks down from my girlfriends house.
  4. Rolled to the hill of the calander, whatever the hell that means.
  5. PM M&Pc9, he is in the biz.
  6. Why would you wish to spend your money at a place that restricts your ability to protect yourself? Yes those signs at BSM are legal, and in that instance I don't think "officer I came in through x entrance and it's not posted" would be an excuse. BSM lost a bunch of money last year from me. Once I saw it was posted I quit going. You can't even legally leave your gun in your car on their property.
  7. What are you supposed to do with a freak that is bent on killing someone?
  8. That's fun to watch. and most enlightening as to their intended meaning.
  9. The only thing I see this doing is allowing judges to carry while court is in session. The bill clearly states "has handgun permit". The only place that a cop can carry that I can't is a courthouse (while court is in session), and a resturant that serves booze.
  10. I've never worked as a tipped employee so I can't say I know where you are coming from, however as the employer (sometimes), I can tell that if you do a great job you deserve 20% or maybe even more. even a bad server gets something, if you don't tip a bad server then they may think "well he was just cheap" but if you leave them a "substandard" tip then maybe they will think about their service and take steps to improve. I used to leave between 10 to 15% until I found out that servers are working for 2.13 an hr. I cold not believe that. Also something else to think about, if you tip your server well, then when you return, they will remember you and in all cases I have had try and give even better service.
  11. Why push it?

    4 questions ???

I carry a 40, but have 9mm's laying in certain locations in my house (and they are hi points) so yes I'd trust a Taurus. And yes I think you would be fine with item 4 as well.
  13. That's my take on it. BUT if you guy's would like I can get the local Chief of Police to give us his opinion:rolleyes:.
  14. In what caliber pray tell?
  15. Exactly. Put it up BEFROE you get onto school property. I do each and every time. I do security work at local schools (alarm work) and I have a gun safe in my truck. I always take mine off and put it in the gun safe as well as all other occupants (IMO the law applies to anyone in the vehicle). Sometimes there are 4 or 5 guns in the safe at one time:rolleyes:. I worry more about the pocket knife I carry, I can see it now, I pull it out to cut something work related and get jacked up. Anyway, all LE I have spoke to says locked up in you vehicle is fine. Oh and just for the record, I do not take off my holster, so anyone who sees me while I'm working (my holster gets exposed sometimes) could asume there is a gun in my vehicle. No one has ever said a thing.
  16. I like your link. Nafaei looks pissed that his "house boy" is not following his rules.
  17. Had that problem once with a Dodge van, turned out the od. was off by 10 MPR @ 65mph. I would suggest getting your od. checked just to be sure you are only doing 65. I got out of my ticket. But I also now check all my od. with a known good one when I buy just to make sure I have no more suprises. And as far a a radar detector. In every instance I've seen by the time it goes off he's got ya anyway. I don't own one and haven't for years (well it might be in the barn, not sure on that). I refues to use one. I set my cruise @ 4 to 6 miles over the posted speed limit (unless construction) and ride, and wave at the state boy's as a pass. KPd are butt heads, they will stop you for 4 miles over but let the guy who passed you going 15 over slide. You are easier to catch.
  18. What's the problem? You don't even need a permit to carry on your property. I answer the door day or night with my hand on mine (course the visitor can't see it) and once I identify the visitor then I relax my posture. I have answered the door with a 45acp in my hand and it was a deputy. (late at night I ain't playing no games), once I identifyed him I stuck it on the tv and ask him what was going on.
  19. It has been, TGO is a wonderful place to find info even if it's not gun related. Some of the boards would have shut down this thread 2 sec. after I started it. I now have hot water at a acceptable level and am going to start looking around for a water heater of better quality.
  20. Mine to, I'm thinking about piping it out from under the house. Don't need the under the house area washed.
  21. Mine's piped under the floor. Guess I need to think about piping it out to a drain.
  22. You know, that's about the only time I like seeing alot of blue on the map.
  23. Yea that'd hurt. Nothing like having that face plate crammed into your grill. Back in my youth I would just as soon give you the redneck salute as not, get in my way, you got it, ride my bumper you got it, you get the idea. Now that I am older, wiser, and carry a weapon I alway think "what are my actionsgonna do to this situation?" before I act. To many crazy people with a gun out there to be just randomally pissing someong off. (and no I'm not talking about HCP holders).
