  1. Answers my question as well.
  2. I do carry a backup. My primary carry is a M&P40C, my backup is a LCP, now most of the time when I leave my house I have my son and wife with me and he also has a 40C, and my wife is carrying a LCP. Neither of them carry a bug.

    WHAT? $48.00

You ain't kidding. There was a big stink back a couple of years ago, seemed barney city speed is 40mph, while 411 all the way to the city limit sign is 55, well he put his speed limit sign up and was catching em left and right. Until some lawyer got wind of it, bunch of people got out of tickets and they had to put a sign up 100 yrds up the road telling everyone that the limit was changing. Last itme I was in Bentons I couldn't even get waited on.
  4. It mean you would be able to go to outbacks, have a steak and coke, and not have to disarm to do it.
  5. ROTFLMAF
  6. No, what happens now, the way I understand it, is the SB goes to the house and the house votes on keeping the amendments or not. If they agree (majority rule) with the changes it goes on to the guvnrs desk. If they do not agree the it will go to a conference committee and they will try and work out a compromise, if they can then the process starts all over again with the house and senate voting on the new stuff, if they can't then the bill is dead.
  7. Here is the message I just received from Mike Bell
  8. GEt some sizes posted man. I didn't figure shipping was an option but if it is I'll do what I can.
  9. I'm on the other side of the state so a clothing donation might not help much at all. Tell me they had insurance.
  10. Got a message from Mike Bell this morning and he said
  11. I finally got my wife to carry. All it took was 1/2 dozen holsters for a LCP. Finally got a IWB holster she actually likes and has started carrying her lcp where ever she goes. Got it at the Outpost. Now I got to go find the clamshell so I can order me one too. Oh and instead of IWB she has it clipped and stuck in her pocket.
  12. If, and I mean IF you or the clerk are in danger of being shot, take him out. But if he is just stealing the money, does NOT point the gun at you then hide and call 911. You don't get paid to be a hero, and the store has insurance for the theft. Just to give you a "for instance": you are standing there, and he pulls a gun at the clerk, you put a cap in his a@@ and it turns out he had a water gun, YOU ARE SCREWED. There are many different opinions on this here on the board and someone will come along and tell you to put a cap in him, but in a split second you have to make the decision that you will have to live with the rest of your life. Now that being said, if I'm standing there and some guy runs in a robs the place and starts shooting, say into the ceiling, I can't be certain the next round will not be in the clerk or myself, or anyone else standing (or at this time hiding) I would have to think that I would be able to take the shot to save a life. But if he is just waving a gun around then no I would not be able to justify it in my own mind.
  13. Why is yoru comcast bill 130? mine is only about 60.
  14. The only way I'm emptying my carry gun, unless I'm cleaning it, is 1 round at a time into what ever is threatening me or my family. I don't even unholster it unless I have to, IE going in to a free victim zone, or cleaning it, or to change holsters.
  15. Mine is lightening fast. I am on comcast so that might have a bit to do with it.
  16. Yea, that's what they said about Glocks when they first came out too.
  17. Ok, I got to handle one today, and while to me it is ugly as homemade sin, it appears to be very functional, well built, and has a trigger that is smooooooooooooth as butter. No grit, no hesitation, and the same weight from the first touch to the break. Nice gun but just not for me (I like my autos too much).
  18. On the senate version it actually says "effective June 1, 2009 the public welfare requiring it" or something to that effect. I've been trying to find out when it is on the calendar but am having no luck.
  19. I've been thinking the same thing. Someone here is trying to push the same buttons.
  20. Saw I guy today that was OC'ing what appeared to be a NAA 22 with the long barrell on it, it was hard to tell and with the custom holsterunless you were looking (and knew what to look for) you would not know what it was. The holster actuall looked like a knife holster but knives don't have the "birds head" grip on them.
  21. Well I actually snuck out of class early and stopped by. Very nice store. Met Mike and he was very helpful. Theonly problem I had was not having enough money for all the toys I wanted.
  22. Depends on what his orders said. If he is assigned to TN, then he is a resident of TN. No FFL required. If his orders stated KY, then FFL all the way.
  23. Ft. Campbell, Ky? if so then yes.
