  1. On on this board right now for 450.00. I agree on price for the most part, I was just quoting "book" values as a starting point.
  2. Is it a straight 66 or a 66-3? Stainless or blued? What kind of condition is the 66 in? How much is the person asking for it in cash? and how much are you valueing your Glock at? As for me? I'd trade if the 66 is stainless and in good shape. You can always get another G19 but the 66's are getting a little scarce in my neck of the woods. Oops, just checked my book and if it's a66 it's stainless. Book shows at 100% it's right at 390. For 90% it drops to 180. Take those prices with a grain of salt though.
  3. Don't give a rats rear about what my inlaws or the rest of my family think. All my inlaws used to be able to do is "ask me to leave" (nothing would have made me happier). But I no longer grace them with my presence. As for as my family, my brother is not as bad as me but almost, the rest of the family don't really care what I do, no more than I get to see them I could walk in carrying a machine gun and I don't think anyone would notice.
  4. I got the same safe except mine is 72" instead of 60 and mine is about 1250 lbs empty. So yours is at least 900 to 1000. You need more hand guns.
  5. Don't be mislead by a german shepards intellance level either. They are very smart and know how to get what they want. When my house was being setup there was one that would chase anything as long as you would throw it. We even went as far as to take a rock, mark an X on it and toss DEEP in the woods. The sucker would come out rock in his teeth just grinning like "try again", well theis dog also liked soda, didn't matter what kind and if you took a plastic bottle of coke (pepsi, or any other soda) and threw it, the dog would go get it, sit down and place the bottle between his paws and use his teeth to un screw the bottle. Amasing power in those jaws.
  6. Yea some people can't leave well enough alone.
  7. OK, I carried your email to them at my location and they didn't even know who the guy was that gave you that info. I was told again they would NOT be posting.
  8. Well the Outback inCleveland TN is still NOT posted and according to the MGt. they will NOT be. Outbacks are handled similar to mcdonalds, Franchises, Corp only has the ability to control certain stuff. The email you got was probally from a corp office of the nashville owned branch. The one I go to I know they own a few (don't know how many) and I've been welcomed in there each and every time.
  9. Sounds like a drunk redneck mentality to compare a dogs life to a childs or another persons.
  10. I had this neighbor (he's in jail now I think), that had a crapper load of the beasts. Well one day I come home to a full litter on my front porch eating my cats food. Well I got my 22 revolver and salted their butts. They were still hollering 2 hrs later and I never saw the little monsters again. Wife asked me why I didn't just kill em. I figured if I taught them a lesson in where to go and where not to go why waste the dumpster space?
  11. Ok, a dog is the only thing that gets a warning shot from me, and that's only if it's in my territory and does not relocate upon command. (most of the dogs around here know my voice and what happens if they don't scoot). If it's attacking a family member it's going down, period. If it's attacking one of my cats, well the cat can climb a tree and I got plenty of them (trees and cats). LOL. If it's biting my lawn mower tires, hell let it. if he tears it up then I don't have to mow the dang yard. Now so you don't think I a cruel SOB, I've lived here almost 10 years, shot plenty of dogs with rat shot outta my 22.they might come back for a taste once or twice but once a dog relates the bang sound with pain they soon learn. I did kill one of my neighbors dogs a few years ago. she was chasing my prego cat (best mouser and snake hunter I ever saw) and I shot over her head to scare her with my 12 gauge, I mis judged the spread and killed her. Pained me but I have to live with that. I've said this on threads before, the only dog I automaticlly go on the defensive with is a pit bull.
  12. 1 day, bought a glock 22 1st gen, took it home shot it, callled a friend that liked glocks and sold it to him. Then 2 years later bought a Glock 22 3rd gen. for some reason it seems to feel much better.
  13. It takes less time to look at the HCP than it dows to "run" somebody to see if they can legally have the gun. I wouldn't worry to much about it. They were not trying to harass her, just covering all the bases
  14. While it's not among your picks you might want to look at the new Ruger SR556. It comes stock with a lot of the "upgrades" you would normally purchase.
  15. I agree faulty ground, if it's wired for a trailer that would be the first place I'd check (I drug my explorer wiring harness on the ground until all of em shorted out, didn't know it was dragging). After that chack the connection where they went into the wiring harness to hook up the trailer. Then check the sockets on the right side, find the ground wire and make sure (using a meter) that when it's grounded it reads 0 ohms of resistance (or very dang close), with that short of a run it should have little to no resistance.
  16. Don't know. I'll try and find out that question on Sunday (as long as the wife is out of the hospital).
  17. Having worked in apawn shop for a while I can tell you for the most part those are for the idiots that bring loaded guns in to pawn. You would not believe how many times I have had to unload a gun that was nto loaded. One smartass got it good, told me it was unloaded, I checked, emptied the gun and then told him "what if I had just pointed it at you and pulled the trigger?"
  18. This is gone to Packinmama. She was the first to send me a request.
  19. Eurolux 4X25 Scope with rings (weaver mount). I think it's designed for an SKS & such. First PM with I'll take it and complete address gets it.
  20. Damn. That ain't right. More big brother there.:death::death:
  21. I've seen some "ladies" that were hanging on a mans shoulder that could pass for a bag. Does that count?
  22. I've got an old faceplate box laying around here somewhere, it's yours if you want it. Pm me you address and I'll send it out.
  23. Wished I'd have known that a few months ago. Took a wrong turn and ended up on a main road that seemed to divide a fed installation, myself (carrying 2) and my son (carrying 1) wipped the truck around and got the heck out of dodge.
  24. It was the extractor. Shoots like a dream now. Thanks for all the input:koolaid:
  25. ROTFLMAF. You haven't met me but I don't do prone very well, many years of good eating have nipped that in the bud. LOL. I could but there is not a good place at the range to do prone, they have shooting benches set up and then it's rocks with grass growing through them:rolleyes: .
