  1. Sounds like you need a rock and a creek.
  2. Thanks. Dang those are nice but we don't want the steam.
  3. Well I was gonna get the set sears has on sale this weekend but they are too small. Price I hadn't given much thought to, (yet) I'm just looking at options. IOW, look at what she "wants" and then price down if necessary.
  4. one of our members here works at HHgregg, I'm hoping he will chime in and let me know some of the service nightmares he has experiance with.
  5. Yeah, electronics makes our lives better but they suck when they go out. Yep about 2 bills. I don't want a wringer washer. So all of them have bunches of electronics so kinda stuck in that aspect. Heard about that, seems they all have that problem to a certian degree, need to leave the door cracked to allow for drying. How much did your water and elec. bills go down? In comparison, my water bill is around 40 bucks a month and my elec. is around 275 (went to above 3 bills in the summer)
  6. Getting ready to buy a new front load washer dryer pair for the DW, need input from someone in the industry that can tell me which ones are the ones to stay away from, equipment failures, ETc. Also if you know of a good set that would be very helpful also.
  7. Yes as you found out already. I just won;t go back in there. Do you not even read? The owner who is in Dayton tells the employee that he can't have his gun either making that place a perfect place to rob. I worked in a pawn shop, I know what kind of money can be found in one, shoot, the week of the 1st is a big money week, and if the 3rd falls in the same week (as in the 1st not being on a Friday) it's even bigger money.
  8. Are we talking about the area down by the ocoee? If so I have carried my handgun into the ranger station a bunch (before I found out it was illegal)
  9. I didn't buy anthing that day, but would have demanded a refund if I had. It's their business they can run it however they like, I just won't darken their door again. Oh and BTW the signs are not legal signs, but they mad etheif intentions perfectly clear.

Oh my tablet works, just doesn't rotate, not a big deal since I'm left handed, I think it actually makes it easier for me to use.
  11. Your welcome, we just gotta stick together.
  12. If you were asking me, here is the info.
  13. How about send me a copy of that.
  14. He owns 5 ofthem in east Tn. not sure where the others are. I did that. Ok, I'm not trying to run him out of business, but if we don't stand up for our rights we WILL loose them.
  15. Been there done that, last time the road was closed I had to go visit my family (don't remember why). It's almost as short to go I81 to Johnson city, and take I26 all the way to Ashville. It's all interstate. The last time I26 was not finished and I actually took 81 all the way to VA and then shot back down what was another interstate but can't remember the number. I'm glad of 2 things, 1 i'm on this side of the slide, and 2 I don't have plans to go that way for a while.

I jsut installed it on my HP, tablet PC and the only issue I have is not my screen does not rotate when I put it tablet mode. It does look to be the "cleanest" windows yet.
  18. I meant a sign banning hadguns. LOL I'm messing with ya, to be honest I didn't even see that one.
  19. Now back to the previous topic. Any way to really let this guy know how much business he is loosing?
  20. I've got a Para 14.45 LDA, in stainless, it's 45 ACP but it's the easiest straight shooter (as far as recoil) I've seen. It's for sale at the right price.
  21. I've been there a bunch too and I've never seen a sign.
  22. Nope, but I got the owners phone number 423-775-8028 Ext. 4
  23. Super Pawn, across from Brownies Resturant. and no I was not OC'ing. I was carrying the same way I always do. on my hip covered with a shirt. I know you can see it but that ain't my problem.
  24. well I spent about 18 months working in a pawn shop, carried every day and I did not have a HCP. I just want to make sure everyone knows that you can't fix stupid.
  25. I've been going to the "Super Pawn" here in Athens for years, today after I was done shopping I was told by the employee that the owner "didn't want anyone carrying guns in his business" and for me to leave it in my car from now on. Now this dipstick (the owner) owns 5 of these pawn shops here in eastern Tennessee. I feel it is my duty to make sure all of us that carry know we are not welcome in his business. I was nice and polite and told the employee that while I respect the owners wishes I won't be back. The sad part is the employee has his HCP and is no longer allowed to carry his either.
