Well I'll be dipped. Went by the local dealers today and the "special box" was back out in front of the store (it is apparently a Friday and Saturday thing). Looked down in the case and they have some killer deals again this week. FYI a Stainless 64 S&W for 279.95 OTD a blue charter 38 special (didn't get the model number) for 279.95 out the door. and low and behold the other Beretta 96FS (the one I wanted last week for 299.95 instead of the one I got) for 279.95:cool: It's in better shape that last weeks model. So I figure if last weeks gun was a decent deal, then this one must be a better deal since it's in better shape, right? So I bought it. Think I'm gonna send the on in the worst shape to CCR for a refinish in OD green. Always wanted a 92FS in OD but every time I find one I'm broker that broke.

My suggestion for you would be to buy some of those ice packs that you bust the little thing and shake it up and it gets cold. They last 6 to 12 hrs depending on which ones you buy. Get a cooler that is just big enough for the insulin and 1 of those cold packs on top. You would be good to go.

I've heard good things about your place, been trying to get up there. My son brought me some "smokin" sauce when he was there a couple of months ago and man that stuff is tasty.

It's kinda like when cops get to the office, they put theirs in a locker. The are "supposed" to be on a navel base so they are supposed to be secure. Weather I had bought it or not the question is still valid. If it is a good deal at the gun store, why would it not be a good deal once I got it home? Even though I already bought it, it IS still a good deal.

She shoots just like my brand new one. . Now I got to decide if I want to get it refinished. Probally not, may use this one for a truck gun, or better yet a gun in my office for those pesky customers that won't pay. JK:p

Just got back from the local pushers:p, and they had a Beretta 96FS, police special, with 2 mags for 299.95 including tax and background. Now the gun's finish is worn, it's not new by any means but was wondering if it is a good deal or not?

I have Farm B. insurance and unless it's a "stock" item in the auto, IE they don't cover non factory radios, GPSs, cameras, guns, ETC. unless you have a seperate "rider" on your policy.
