thinking about buying one of these from a friend...anybody ever mess with one...an feedback?

I knew it was assembled by bold idea. . . and I knew it was the bottom tier of Colts . . .I like the idea of the 1 in 8 twist barrel. . .but I really do want Mil-spec parts. . .and with no way of knowing whats in that 1516  I believe the Spikes Tactical Mid length ST-15 has got my name on it

    I'm thinking that Colt CSR-1516 at CDNN may be my winner. . .

Hello fellow TGO folks. . after messing with Ak's almost exclusively i am making plans to enter the AR world. . .looking for advise on a  dependable bang for your buck AR  from the experts on here. . I remember reading once an article about the smith and wesson mp sport I believe it was Dolomite that made it sound like a no brainer and was thinking about one of those but I understand they arent the same anymore (care to chime in Dolomite). . also I'm considering the spikes tactical mid length offering that Aim has for $799 and I'm also considering waiting a little longer and getting the Colt LE 6940 any ups or downs with these ideas or alternative notions would be graciously welcomed. . . thanks

  I was not limiting my observations concerning the "gushing" that I am refering to just this thread. . or even this forum. . . you see theres a great big world out there with other forums and social media sights like Facebook and Twitter and various media sources that are available through broadcast televison. . radio. . and even cable.   The "gushing" that I am refering to has actually been posted moreso by members of the "fairer gender" if you will. . . which unfortunately are much shorter in supply here on TGO and thusly would certainly reflect why there isnt so much here specifically.  And most of the "gushing" that I have been exposed to are those who I suspect are more enabored by the "cut of the mans jib" more so than the content of his character or his contribution to the cinema. .   But certainly if you need help finding those who mirror your sentiments concerning the late Mr Walker I'd be happy to provide you links to help you work that out. .

Good times. . .it reminds me of the negative feedback that a guy left for me once on here and the subsequent thread he created bashing me after I had pm'd him to set up a meet and he went completely went casper for three days.  .then got mad  when somebody else bought it. . .And Im very grateful for the support this community gave me in that thread as well. .He had no feedback and had been on here less than a month at the time and even during the course of the three days I had tried to contact him several times about the other buyers interest. . trying give him every chance to shore up his dibs. . .     Some peoples kids. . .

Question...if you run a magnifier doesnt it also make your reticle bigger as well? I would think if your optic has a 2 moa reticle and you used x3 magifier the the reticle would be 6 moa...I dont think I would care for that... Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2

Im with oh shoot...I still run old federal +p+ 9bple...I know its outdated...but Ive shot so much of it through both my pistols that I know it works...and Ive got enough of it that I can run several mags in each gun through every six months or so to ensure thats still the case and not worrying about running out in my lifetime....:D Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2
