  1. Pretty much, no cosponsors, this has as much chance of passing as my big butt has at winning a marathon.
  2. Will do. .
  3. I looked for surplus mags. . not a lot out there right now in stock that I could find other than Korean or Croation mags and I was not really too keen on those. I bought a dozen of the Magpul $13.99 non gen 3. I expect they should be alright.
  4. Does anyone have any personal experience with Magpul AK mags? I noticed a huge price difference in the "gen 3"ones with the metal locking tab. But internet scuttle doesn't seem to be to be too harsh on the earlier style with just polymer. They both just have polymer feedlips. My only experience with AK mags were the chinese flatbacks which were always good to go back when I had them and my Poly Tech. Thanks
  5. I have the XS big dot on my Shock Wave and I like it a lot. Just jumps on target and is more accurate than I thought it would be. Also, I don't think I would worry too much about the barrel thing. When you install you remove your threaded bead then install the threaded bead that comes with it with just a dot of blue loc-tite. Then you epoxy the XS big dot to the bead. Should you ever want to take it off I think the bead would come off pretty good with heat by turning the sight, but I could be wrong.
  6. It ain't great but probably as good as you are going to get anytime soon. . . https://www.targetsportsusa.com/red-army-standard-7-62-39mm-ammo-122-grain-fmj-steel-case-am3092-p-110331.aspx
  7. I'll hit some somewhere sooner or later. . I pretty much only buy and sell from individuals on TGO.
  8. I have the AK bug...but I'm not going to get one until I secure some ammo. This morning Target sports had 640 round spam cans of Red Army Standard polymer 7.62x39 for .40 cents per round shipped 55 available. I put 4 in cart but had no account there..in the three minutes it took to create the account and get the activation email it was all gone...wow
  9. No, I didn't have a 5/32" punch its coming today. Should get to do it this evening or tomorrow evening
  10. That is crazy. . when I bought my shockwave I bought a 250 round case of Federal LE low recoil flight control wad 00 buck and a 250 round case of federal Le low recoil rifled slugs slugs for right at $365 shipped in late 2018 at SG Ammo, granted that was before they started collecting sales tax as well. . but still thats crazy.
  11. I know all ammo is high but is no name 00 buck that high too..
  12. I hear you...I have two AR's both are Palmetto State. One is built on a complete MOE lower that came with the SSA-E already installed ( I bought it a few years ago on a black friday sale for $249) and man I could sure tell the difference between that one and the other that is just their standard mil spec trigger. I picked this one up on sale for $179, I'm sure there are probably better values but I wanted both to have the same trigger.
  13. Anybody done one of these before? I am fairly new to ARs and would love to hear any advice before I tear into this. I believe there is an installation video on you tube I'm going check out. But, I thought I might ask if any of the intelligent folks here that may have experience for any tips or things to be wary of. Thanks for the time.
  14. Here's mine...part of me wants one of those binary triggers and the other part says ammo goes too fast at one at a time.
  15. I expect a few executive actions pretty much right off the bat, targeting importation of firearms and ammo, both have been done before and is the easy low hanging fruit for Biden. And considering todays market its the easiest way to do the most damage while making the least waves.
  16. This is the correct answer, the more of these out there the more the more normalized they will be. I have a Shokwave with a brace and an AK-V with a brace. Its not hard to make a few people criminals with a stupid law or directive, its a lot harder making 10 million people criminals with that same stupid law or directive. There is some safety in numbers, it kind of makes want to get something else and put a brace on it.
  17. Speaking of PCC I haven't seen anybody else on TGO say they have bought one but I bought one of the PSA AK-V's last June. Much longer 10" barrel and of course it has the SB3 brace. I still have not tried it out yet but at the time I thought it would be a fun little gun to shoot on the cheap as at the time you could get brass 9mm for $170.00 per 1000.
  18. I was looking at the same thing too. . it does look a little different than a regular SB Brace and collapses a little shorter (I dont even know if that matters). I was reading on another forum and someone on it was saying that the reason it was singled out is in its description provided by Q to the ATF did not state its intended use as a brace. But hell who knows. To me its fundamentally like all other SB braces including the two that I own. I just hope in defending the Honey Badger SB Tactical doesn't drag all the others in by saying this one is no different from the ones you they are allowing.
  19. All in all pretty good deal in todays market Aim has brass cased 9MM for $19.95 per 50. Link below: https://aimsurplus.com/medef-venom-9mm-115grn-fmj-ammunition-50rd-box/ Hope maybe it helps somebody out.

    PSA Dagger

I will concede beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And I do like Palmetto States stuff I have 2 of their ARs and an AK-V. I guess I'm kinda out of the loop on the price points of polymer 9mm pistols. But the way that mag just sticks out the bottom and it's all so square everywhere.I just can't help looking at it and thinking if the 1977 Ford Granada was a pistol that is what it would look like. But I don't like Glocks either so there you go. I assume accessories and aftermarket parts for the glock also fit the Granada?

Please forgive me for going all Ulysses Everett Mcgill on this subject but I don't get it Big Dan. What is the big draw? It looks like an ugly Glock clone with an ill fitting magazine. Is it the just the price point?
  22. I guess that's pretty good for the times. And to be honest I do get Magic Carpet Rides point. I almost always buy my ammo from sgammo. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but it seemed during the last crises their prices didn't spike as quickly as many others did online. But I certainly don't begrudge SG for being able to make some money when they can. I imagine from the manufacturer all the way down to the retailer there all getting a piece of price difference.
  23. I know. . I loaded up on .16 and .17 cent per round FMJ brass case 9mm and 27 to 30 cent per round brass case 556 during the good times. And it feels good.
  24. I'm getting that way. . . I'm actually sitting quite pretty on ammo myself, but for some reason I can't help myself from looking in on the train wreck
