  1. What do you think about the one you have? I'm thinking of putting a binary in the 11.5" AR Ive got coming?
  2. Accidentally made duplicate thread.
  3. These interest me a little bit. Anyone here have any personal experience with these.
  4. Hello. My guy at Knox Tactical has retired and moved to Colorado. So I'm looking for someone to install a set of Meprolights in the CZ 75 P01 that I recently purchased from another member. Thanks for any help if anyone knows someone good around Knoxville or surrounding areas.
  5. Here is Sleepy Joe's executive action verbatim on April 7. The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act. The alleged shooter in the Boulder tragedy last month appears to have used a pistol with an arm brace, which can make a firearm more stable and accurate while still being concealable. So here is their proposed rule, made within 60 days. The ATF has made their proposal and that's all Sleepy Joe promised, he can now blame the right for whatever reason it doesn't fly. It's just the backside of his political lip service to his base. The Dems know gun control is not popular right now and they want to be elected in 2022. As long as the backlash draws enough attention this has no traction.
  6. They are just following up on Sleepy Joe's executive actions. I think they will back right off if there is sufficient negative backlash, which if we do our job there will be.
  7. I have two braces. One on a shockwave and an AK-V. I'll put my comments on it and see what happens. I don't think it will get much traction right now...but I do believe they will eventually get them.
  8. Yeah me too..I had a preban Polytech Galil side folder and sold in 2013 or so when I had gotten in a bind. It was a great gun but I was never just completely in love with it as the front sight was canted, not bad but enough to bother me. I haven't shot this one yet but the fit and finish are great, rivets and seams are all spot on and there is no cant in front sight, I was pretty impressed. The stock trigger was a sloppy mess but the ALG cleaned that right up. You know I still can't get over how good the double hook trigger was on that Polytech, no take up and a nice short reset, I never measured it but I would say 4 to 4.5 lbs of pull.
  9. Palmetto State GF3. ALG trigger, VG6 Epsilon brake, Texas Weapon Systems Gen 3 Dog Leg and an Eotech 512 A65. I can't wait to try it out
  10. Yeah that is crazy. . Vepr's used to command somewhat more money that a garden variety AK, but not at that ratio. Thats 1.5 times new Polytech Legen pricing
  11. I finally got around to putting the little trigger in. It went pretty wellyesterday
  12. I thought about that and in hindsight it would have worked I was just afraid with my luck it would have been overtightened (it wasn't) $11 bucks was worth the piece of mind.
  13. I got mine in and put it on...super easy with an $11 tool from Amazon. I think we are going to get along just fine.
  14. It's been awhile since I had purchased from Midway...I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't collect Tn sales tax.
  15. It was $118 plus shipping
  16. I just ordered mine from Midway...thanks for that,
  17. That makes a little sense now. . I thought you had the 14" shockwave like I have. The 14 inch has the shorter 5 round tub tube sso the ones you returned should work correctly on mine. Since you have the longer barrel you have the longer tube and need the 590 version, TL Racker needs to clean that fitment guide up a little. Did you use an AR wrench this time?
  18. I about to order one with the tool for $18.50 to remove the nut the other day from GG&G, I mean in cart bout to enter the credit card number and I held off. I'm really curious too. GG&G makes a big fuss about the 500/590 and the Shockwave being different.
  19. Yep. . just for giggles I looked at the link 5 minutes after you posted. . as I was curious what was elite about it. . .and it was already out.
  20. Thats probably as good of a price as you will find to get that much at one time. Its hard to believe I bought that same case at Palmetto State Armory for $169.00 before shipping less than 2 years ago.
  21. I hear ya. . I know this is a subjective question, but how many is "enough". I would be curious to hear what everybody else says on long guns. I have 2 AR's and 30 30 round magazines for the 2. I just got an AK and got a total of 15 30 round magazines for it. Just curious to what everyone thinks is "enough".
  22. Just show up looking like Carl in your avatar. . that would be plenty. The only thing about football I miss is "Carls Stone Cold Lock of the Century of the Week". . those were awesome.
  23. There will be a bill or even multiple bills that will get traction. But it will be more moderate than this, it's the moderate bills that scare me.
  24. No comments or agreements needed. . I am the Cyrano De Bergerac of the anatomical wood shed. . hauling a$$ always requires at least 3 trips.
  25. Sounds like functional socialism to me. . .
