  1. I guess the best bet to determine if it's technically in place is to follow the money. It appears to me Palmetto State and others are still selling brace equiped pistols...so there's that.
  2. I'm hoping House Republicans see this over reach and cut their funding till they come to heel.
  3. That’s what I’ll do with both of mine if it sticks..but I think it’ll get shot down pretty quick.
  4. I honestly do not think it will stick but they gonna try anyhow.
  5. They have made it official. https://www.atf.gov/rules-and-regulations/factoring-criteria-firearms-attached-stabilizing-braces
  6. Oh man, what a coincidence I just happen to live in Lenoir City and have no travel plans other than meeting you and paying you your asking price for that pistol package. That is of course if you are not in that big of a hurry and are willing to bring it when you come. Sending pm with my contact info.
  7. Do you ever come east any?
  8. I can’t believe this is still here. By the way with crimped shells it’s certainly 7+1. I recently did me up a 590 shokwave the way I wanted it and man I wish I hadn’t. This is such a good deal. If I didn’t think I’d have to take a $400 bath to sell it you would marking this as sold.
  9. That maybe true but its still a form of holding the gun financially responsible instead of the shooter. My concern is that more of this will come since this did pay off.
  10. I think this is going to set a really bad precedence. https://apnews.com/article/sandy-hook-school-shooting-remington-settlement-e53b95d398ee9b838afc06275a4df403
  11. I ended up not getting one. I just put in a Geissele SSA-E like I have in my other 2 AR's. I get pretty fast split times with those and I know they work and ammo is just too high. .
  12. BEeore I did bleach I would do vinegar and hot water. If that didn't get it move to borax.
  13. September the 8th is the last day for comments and there are less than 170000 which is really low considering how many braces there are so if you have not left a comment please do so. Not sure how much it will help but it can't hurt.
  14. The market will adjust over time. Steel cased was over priced in market already. I'm set for ammo for the foreseeable future but I did pay higher than I liked for most of my 7.62x39. i have 3k of Russian steel case and 1.5k of Norma tactical brass. If the brass is only .15 more than the steel case I'd buy the brass.
  15. Welcome to 2021. . it pretty much sucks. . .
  16. Prayers sent. . .
  17. I'm surprised they are just now doing this.

  20. Well in my case a "trunk gun" is one that will basically live in the trunk of my car. A "truck gun" would be one that lives in someones truck.
  21. Sounds fine to me I don't think it will get hotter than that...

    Trunk gun

Greetings all, I recently picked up a 11.5 inch AR braced pistol...I know perhaps the thread should be in the handgun section...but the question is more for long guns. I was planning to keep this in my trunk and I am currently running an Eotech on it. It gets pretty hot in there, other than battery life should I be concerned about some sort of other possible more catastrophic problem? Any thoughts or experience on this subject. Thanks
  23. Thanks I just went ahead and bought a sight pusher
  24. They have Blazer Brass for $17.99 limit 4 if ordered on line, not sure about limit in store.
  25. Controlled pairs is what I would be looking for. God knows ammo goes fast enough without trying to mimic full auto for fun.
