    S&W 686 question

The grips will interchange with K frame, but it takes a larger fitted holster because of the beefed up frame. They hold up as good as the larger N frame guns to hot loads because of the newer metals used.
  2. TLC or one of the shows ran an hour special on it last week. Looks like a lot of mind over matter combined with street fighting. Would be a great class to take.
  3. Thanks for info after buying a box of gold dots for $22 yesterday I thought may be worth more. Now to find a collectors board.
  4. I had put away a few 25 round boxes of 9 and was wondering if anybody knows what a good price would be to get out of it?

    Smith and Wesson 22S

Great guns.never had intrest untill I shot one. Shoot better than my Ruger, simple to clean. Have a nylon buffer you replace evert couple years and you get a bag of them with gun. Price well under Ruger. Mine has no jams with Remington good ammo.
  6. How does this differ from their SW99?
  7. They are dead in Summer months Oct-Jan are best most of time for gunshows. One dealer had a pile of Glock 27's w/2mags & NS At Goodman. I asked a guy buying one and he said they were $425.00 out door. Looked like only one left later on. RK has taken over and bought out most of the shows and promoters in area over last few years.
  8. Just make a note of date and everything else you can remember about the sale and date it today. File it away with papers you keep forever. All you can do and it will cover you in case you ever get a call about it.

    9mm Revolver?

The Rugers & S&W models bring big bucks because all are collector items.
  10. A couple of the managers of local shops i used to visit told me they have a few dealers they call and go FFL To FFL less hassle than four people who will not pass TBI Call. Only thing out on floor is one they allowed way too much on.
  11. Not You. Just the salt in sweat. I have seen it for many years on private boats in the Gulf Coast. A few Stainless Smiths,Marine Coat shotguns and (Nobody will belive this)Glocks. All you can do is wipe down every day.

    Got a G34 Today

I had one or a couple weeks and never got used to to the stiff recoil and I shoot 44 mags out of a 3" 629 all day. A couple of buddies who have Glock Forties wanted to try it out. None of them cared for the recoil and the stuck with what they had. I know some who love it. I had Glock 33-My mistake

    XDs compered to Glocks

I wonder why most of the Glock copies have failed, and this one keeps on going?
  14. Try another mag if this will not correct problem and ammo is not junk, call S&W to have it returned for repair. The Sigma is not a known jammer.
  15. Gun City On Murrf Road Nashville, you have to ask for the gunsmith. they were the S&W Repair Center for SE for many years. It was $30 for my K Frame a little while back.
  16. Way to funny how the Black Bear as tall as him smacked him in the arm on his porch and he smacked it across the nose like a puppy dog and it walked away. I have agree with everybody-lunch ,just when?
  17. Never called in life. Most coworkers called two times and a couple three times. I guess they know my feelings,if they made it this far in CJ System they are guilty.
  18. Whenever possible. Got home a few times and seen a store or bank has been robbed that I had used that day,and once a shootout and murder on the street where I was parked. Just five minutes ahead of that one.

    Hog Hunting

Talked to a fellow at sports show for about an hour. From Crossville Area, told us how they only hunt large washed out ditches and all use big bore revolvers. Said you only had time for quick shot as you rounded corner they would run. Asked him if he was ever charged and said never ditch hunting in twenty five years. Claims he has great luck compared to woods. Interesting and sure knew what he was talking about. Sure want to try it sometime.
  20. I have found reloads much dirtier than factory loads except for Blazer Aluminum ammo. Most of my reloads come from National Bullet Co,I send them my empty brass. Alabama Ammo just plain nasty.
  21. Have seen more than a few returned for repair.About the only .357 Mag for that kind of money which will hold up is Ruger SP101
  22. Could ruin you for life as it may be the only gun you will ever want to own.
  23. One Glock 23 can replace them all and you would have enough leftover for two weeks in Costa Rica& Corona !!!
  24. A local dealer buddy told me yesterday Ruger is gearing up because of unseen demand and within two months they will have quite a few coming in. He thinks they will be able to sell them for $269.00 +TX/T
  25. May just be a throwdown???
