I got one first week they came out and hated the trigger pull and sold it to a buddy who shot it and liked it. just picked up a used one with a fired case dated Nov 2015 and no comparison. This one has a nice smooth trigger pull like a G19,heard they had to work on trigger and they got it down. I also added a Tuff 1 Grip and it helps a lot.

It is their way of getting out of liability in case you shoot someone on bus by accident or not. Tour Busses now have a huge target on them now with Willie/Rappers Drugs&Guns and are under a microscope. Example Feds/Local LE now use Log Book and a dozen other reasons to pull driver over for inspection on road or weigh station and run dogs. If they ask any weapons ?? If you lie you stay for jail for false information, tell truth, bus company boots you off rest of tour. to make a short story long this is just one example.

You will find you will save a pile of money because there is no need to ever own another gun. I would call Glock for price to refinish because their Tennifer Finish puts a polymer in pores to keep it from rusting.I had one done years ago, looked new and was low cost. Glock will also replace all parts in slide for free while they have it.

Had one a while back did same thing. Talked to my gunsmith and said drop it off and he would bend and pattern it until correct. Older pump not worth repairing, sold it. Gunsmith said he gets quite a few in a year. Come that way new? get dropped? who knows.

What a shame,a brand new center and after the first gun show they will have the lasting stench of beef jerky, roasted almonds, and unwashed bib overalls.

Got mine in grade school 1967 for Christmas.Good shooter once you dialed it in. Dad loved it and would always give me his .410 for our tree rat outings,he could put three rounds through same hole at 25 yds on sighting in. Not me. I just found Ithaca Contracted it out of a company in Germany to make it. Had he known this he would have cut it up with a hacksaw after spending three years there in a frozen foxhole. It resides in my safe.

After catering BBQ to various groups for many years in Nashville the place that was requested on repeat was Hog Heaven - Pulled Chicken with white sauce. Number Two is Jacks for pulled pork, turkey&ribs. ,Trinity Road location only. That wraps it up for Nashville. There is a place I hear a lot about I want to try called Hickory?? on Dickerson near downtown. Pucketts at their Leipers Fork Location only is also very good but a long drive from Nashville.

With the Glock 42/43 being the hot carry gun there is not much difference now between power/capacity over a .38 snubby. The one thing taught in many classes is with auto misfire/jam tap rack slide with revolver "pull the trigger again"

Wanted to but not able to save enough money cutting grass A Colt SAA .45 Cal seen where they could be fired off horseback at full gallop up to thirty times without reloading and could take somebody off a hilltop at 300 yards with one round.

Open Carrier Gets Robbed of His Gun
Will replied to gun sane's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I have seen two open carry clowns at WM as of late #1 had a full size XD sticking out of his right hip pocket in a pair of baggy pants ready to fall out. #2 was a guy all of 4.5 feet with a SOB Holster and a Sub Compact Glock hanging out mid back carry. It would of took two seconds to remove it without him knowing it. I guess I have never seen a reason to open carry. -

Remaining Govt Inventory of 1911's to be Sold to the Public?
Will replied to mootw's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
As with the Garands/Carbines as of late the CMP must sell guns and ammo at market value as to not disrupt market. Sit down and hold on for price. -
Do not know how big a crowd it will draw as it is his first one there. Two large rooms and billboards all over town.

Capitol said same price at their Springfield store, not close enough for me but if your near them.

Buy a set of replica grips at a gun show for about twenty five bucks and put them on when shooting gun as your original grips are in very nice shape but will crack because of age (very brittle) and have seen original grips go for over a hundred. How did I find this out? I shot and broke mine.

I found trigger to get much better at 300 rounds. Those with the +2 base does it require a longer spring to function?

Nashville Armory / Permit Class
Will replied to Fourtyfive's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Trainer told me State now requires the smaller target now,no longer using B-26 Target, this may be some of their thinking. -
I have always thought she is the only funny comedian there is right now, but after this stunt I will never watch or listen to her again. (Amy Schumer joins up with her uncle in gun control effort) Major headlines today or Google. Why is it that somebody gets a little fame they have to start running off at the mouth about taking away everyones 2nd amendments rights? Glad I seen this before going to see her new movie. Should have known being related to Chuck this would happen someday.
