  8. When they were running with the hybrids below Priest Dam most folks were keeping them and said great eating. I seen a special on TV saying the Govt is opening a facility to process and give to shelters and cut back the numbers.
  9. Did not see story here, was not there for it. Out of State gang member buying many guns and aftermath. Many news stories Google Knoxville ATF Knoxville Gunshow.
  10. Yes in most States. Some FFL's will not honor them so in state =background out of state=ship to FFL
  11. Was up that way Friday and stopped in as it was a Fri/Sat show. Biggest small town gunshow I seen in a while, lots of nice guns came in and on tables. Lot was full and a little crowded inside but have seen worse. went through a couple of large tables of parts and found a WWI 1911 Colt pinned tutone mag for ten bucks.
  12. VG Cond. Has been with me since new 1988 Orig grips about 300 rounds through it and most were .44 Special. Tight lockup. $1450.00 Cash No trades wanted. Local pickup not shipping. No box. This was Pre Lew Horton as per Smith&Wesson.
  13. As I was told a sap is legal to own,but not legal to use as they have been outlawed for Police/Security. The Baton class will only cover you for a collapsible or straight baton but not Mondock with handle. You have to have a baton permit to carry one as a civilian even with a gun permit.
  14. A few years after we got our HCP were were not allowed to walk into armed to the corner gas station that sold beer,or a food joint that served booze, school parking lots and other things . I was involved with TFA and would bring up at meetings that some states after and before us allowed firearm to be carried almost anywhere even long guns with a Carry Permit and we needed to start chipping away at this and it fell on deaf ears. Now many years later we are now trying to get it in place and this is wth a Super Majority in place. I am glad to see it but this and other things should have been worked in place years ago.
  15. Send me a PM I had a local FFL dealer tell me he had a few that were in back. I am going to look through them first in a few days and see what he has then I will let you know.
  16. Local WM had .22 short H. P. last week, have not seen in two years.
  17. Take allof it except shotgun . PM Sent
  18. Talked to a couple people that went to the last show there which I think was their first show there and they liked it and did good. They were walkins not vendors. Used to go to the Memphis Fairgrounds Show and it was good at times but the constant auto breakins in lot put a damper on it and when Germantown started it was huge at first and Fairgrounds show ended. I once got yelled at from the first Memphis Mafia Member because I had never head of them, years later I found out who they were.

    Ruger P95

This is the model that was issued to the Tank Crews during Desert Storm when they could not produce enough Beretta 92s and they had to undergo Army tests and trials to be considered.
  20. Yes seen one. Car ahead of me on two lane near Owl Hollow Gun Range it came running down a hill full speed and auto hit it in rear hind 50 mph and had already was in launch mode, looked just like this one but did a 360 cleared fence and landed in field on all fours. Walked away with slight limp. Another time on Hwy 12 Ashland City car ahead had deer leap over cement construction divider, lands on hood and smashed winshield and hood. I followed car to next exit a gas station. Mother and daughter had no idea what went down so I filled them in and waited for PD to file a report.
  21. Metro will return it to you, If not claimed they will send it to be destroyed. Metro used to sell them on a bid and one of the idiot cheifs refused to sell them. If you try to claim your stolen gun from Metro I had to got to hearing, then to trial, then to DA office twice, then to the defense attorney to sign off and then Metro Property room and wait on background check. Had I not worked close to downtown it would not have been worth recovering.
  22. Had one stolen 1995,stopped in to Cheatham Co SD and they updated my contact info. They said they contact all owners but many L E departments contact nobody and destroy all recovered firearms. Purchased a revolver from pawn shop in Franklin and PD said hold sale,it was stolen 35 years ago in Brentwood. They took it to try and contact owner. ATF says stolen gun list starts about 1895 and never leave unless recovered. Metro detective told me all recovered guns always show as stolen first then recovered.
