  1. Rule of thumb, never refinish an original finish but in this case go ahead it will not devalue it but add value. as above find a refinisher that will not remove markings although some small one may remove. Option#2 have it bright or dull nickeled.
  2. Glock 43 is not Optic ready, you have to go to a 43X which is wider heavier and longer handle.
  3. Guitar Case-Sold Violin Case (Middle). 9"Widex30"Long. $35 Violin Case (Right). 9"WideX26"Long $35 I used other ones when I lived in a Condo so the neighbors did not see a gun case when going to range or hunting. If fitting is required it is simple and foam can be added or Velcro to mount in place. I used mine a lot when checking into a hotel and not wanting to leave him in car, they are just great to have. Bring gun to check fit. Pick-up Nashville Airport Area.

  5. Galco Ankle Glove is the go to for most in the know. Go in your boots with gun and gun shop staff will let you try it out
  6. Fifteen years of working with lifelong die hards in North NM most agree on 300 Mag or above, reasoning that for a longer shot you got the extra umph and some that guys that guide hunts require it. That being said one of the guys has shot many with his .243 truck gun while working on his place.

  11. I am pretty sure the two fields in Wilson Co are TWRA leased on opening weekend only, private farms. The best Dove hunting is the two later seasons, they are making their way South and are fat from corn and soybeans on the way down, unlike local birds the first season and the weather is much nicer. I have found a lot of farmers will let you Dove hunt when they don't allow any other type of hunting, look for a field of fresh picked corn/soybeans and pond or creek nearby. In hunting most of TN I never run across Quail. Pheasants are Central IL and modern farming practices have almost wiped them out,no cover and crops picked clean. Fall Turkey hunting is good, you have to stalk them as they do not respond to call.
  12. USGI Surplus purchased new used a couple times. This is the adjustable rear sight issued to Marines for their M-4 Rifles . All Steel. Checked eBay and they list @ $125 +tax and shipping . $80 cash
