for no eyebrows, it was right after I ETS. Working for a used car dealer I was tuning an old Silverado. while sitting on the radiator support I used my 24 inch screwdriver to blip the throttle. Because everyone knows if you do it by hand it may spit fire in your face. So what does it do? HUGE backfire, shoots flames all the way up the underside of the hood and burns my eyebrows and my hair which had JUST grown long enough to lay down. Man do I miss carbs!!

just delayed since I didn't have to appeal. Someone just missed something.

well I am not sure greg did it but whatever. Good man taking responsibility! The Tatum Report is a clearinghouse for multiple conservative, and some liberal I'm sure, new outlets. sorry it doesn't seem to like my live link. look forward to everyone else's input!

Read the beginning and ending and have to agree. This does happen. I bought a pistol at one of the shops here. A few months later I tried to purchase a rifle at the same shop and got dinged. It was Christmas present for my son so wife tried to purchase. No go due to the strawman laws. Couple days later the shop called to tell me it cleared. bought another rifle at another shop several months later without issue. Never got an answer to why I was denied. Welcome to Tennessee by the way1

Glad you're still with us. Also glad I didn't have a mouth full of soda when I read this, I really like this laptop! I can relate because as a PFC Cavalry Scout I and a Corporal were setting a tripflare for tanks using a hoffman which is a 1/4 pound of black powder in a plastic tube with an electric detonator. they are used to simulatethe noise and smoke of tank fire. Being that you want the battery as close to the charge as possible we were squatted over the hoffman as I set the trigger. Unfortunately in our exhaustion, we had hooked up the battery before setting the trigger. yep, blew up literally in our faces. I wear glasses so when I came to my senses I thought I was blind, I kept calling for my corporal friend but he didn't answer. FINALLY saw thet there was light around the edges and wiped off my lenses. there lay my friend face down in the dirt not moving. Continued to call his name as I approached him with no response. When I touched his shoulder to turn him over he jumped to life asking me why I didn't say something, no hair loss but a bit of powder burn for us both. He was deaf for two days.

I have to trust you on this. I'd still want bigger bullet and shorter barrel. Just my weak opinion and excuse to give my wife for buying a new $1500 Marlin. "but honey. Ropin4gold invited me to hunt wild hogs in Texas. You don't want me killed by a wild hog do you?"

I missed this post but yes,,,yes I do

Famous would be Patton, the man was a force. Personally it would be My uncle Forest. His stories were wonderful. At one time he had control of tactical missiles. He served in USAF from WWII until retirement then worked at hospital as civilian. Took us on tour of AF museum when I was very young.

Welcome. hope you enjoy!

I have a 1973 JM 336, beautiful gun and one I have always wanted/will never part with. I like the Henry but the Marlin is better looking to me. For a Texas hog gun I would want something bigger than 30-30 though. And for a brush gun, a short barrel.

So many choices! Well SOME choices anyway. $5-600 would be hard choice nine months ago, limited now with inflated prices. Been wanting an 8 round 357 or a 44. either in 2 or 3 inch barrel. Just ran across a 2 inch 45 acp wheelgun today that would scratch the itch and work with the ammo I already have but yeah,,,another 22 would be good. Maybe two. There is that Bearcat Shopkeeper on arms list been wanting to gift my wife.

Welcome to Tennessee and to TGO. normal safety rules apply. be sure of your backstop and considerate of neighbors. UNLESS you are in the city limits. Some cities in TN have ordinances barring use of firearms. Mine does.

Next Attempt at Constitutional Carry
papa61 replied to TN Native's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
walk in, purchase firearm, purchase ammunition, walk out load firearm and go about your business. THAT is "not infringed" the way it was written and intended, -
@DaveTN - Thanks, had not heard this. Glad the Marlin will live on with a quality manufacturer. I hope the employees affected are taken care of. Also explains why the 45-70 I want went from $900 to $2900. I have a 1973 JM 336 that will stay with me til the end.

If I remember right, SCCY was started by former Kel Tec designers so them being good does not surprise me in the least.

I was trying to watch Bluebloods and y'all had me in tears . Thanks, I needed that. On a serious note, Junki has improved his analogy immensely. And I realize the other environmental impacts of pure electrics including children panning for lithium, disposal of used up batteries, etc. The technology will improve with time just as internal combustion did but at a much accelerated rate. My complaint is we put all of our eggs in the petroleum basket early on. I think we would be better off today had we used ethanol, methane, LPG, and other fuels. they all pollute but have different emissions. On P 80 mess, we are not restricted from building our own firearms so why would an 80% be a problem? some of you undoubtedly have the capability to build your own from raw materials. At what point wouldit be acceptable for ATF? Raw forging? tool steel? Iron ore? They set a standard, we followed it, now they want to renege? Same with pistol braces. You can't satisfy those who wish to disarm us by compromise, that is proven. Now those who have are seeing why we fought so hard to stop the camel from getting it's head under the tent. We truly need to fight to overturn GCA of 1968.

mine is between 300-310. Did you get yours in Gallatin? I had to reorder mine. The first one came in and a LEO needed it so the shop sold him "mine"
