  1. My biggest problem is since this virus hit I;ve gained 25 pounds, can't carry IWB anymore. Try concealing I full size double stack when you're fat! . Odd thing is my M45 firestar has less muzzle flip.
  2. I have a Para P14 stainless. Add 15 rounds of 230 grain .45 to that 3 pounds.
  3. I'm planning on going. Mask up, take a pair of gloves. If it gets too crowded I can leave. Went to show i Manchester and they didn't have enough space. Lebanon usually has more room I'm told. I'm not expecting to buy but I might trade.
  4. I'm working on it. Only so much money to go around. Any members of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership? Learned of them while researching 2A years ago.
  5. Thanks! That makes me feel a lot better about my choice of caliber for my AR.
  6. One never knows. Look at the woman shot and carjacked in Hermitage this week. Thugs are everywhere, watch your backs. I also am always armed and normally have backup when meeting strangers. Not a 200 yard sniper mind you but backup none the less. Haven't been on here long but already "know" some of you guys.
  7. You have my prayers. That is the best thing one can do. Pray for healing, pray for understanding.
  8. Man that is a big pig. How far was the shot? What did you shoot her with? Sorry I haven't been watching the hunting threads.
  9. It has always been us against them. Research where the wording for GCA of 1968 came from. The socialist/communist sector can only control an unarmed populace.
  10. agreed. every compromise is a loss.
  11. I understand the 10/22 can get pricey. Since the OP didn't say custom I just assumed. and yeah, I know what assume can do.
  12. Welcome home good sir.
  13. oh wow! I saw a 10-22 in stock online for $359. Synthetic stock for $232. This was from one of the big sporting goods stores.
  14. I was in the mood to trade. But just ran across a Witness in .38 super so I may have to put one of my babies up for sale.
  15. Has anyone been to the Great American Show in Clarksville today? Experience?
  16. exactly!!! same as the rich guys that buy hemi cudas and shelby mustangs that only get driven on and off the trailer. I'm not an off road guy but give me one of those trackhawks and I'll beat the crap out of it. Dodge R/T 10? yep, I'd beat on it. that's what these things are made for. I shoot all of my guns too.
  17. I have to admit it. I am soooo jealous!!
  18. I gave up saying "how stupid can people get" they took it as a challenge.
  19. This is great info guys! Now if I just had money in the budget for another .45 LMAO. When I get a .38 super I'm thinking another witness or two. Wait, what,,,did someone say they don't and have never had a .45? How is that possible?
  20. Welcome to the forum and the free (for now) state of allergy!
  21. Just saw a piece on ammo prices that included a letter from head over Federal, CCI, Speer, and Remington. as of 4/1/21 pricing will increase from 3 to 15%.
  22. I have a LEE progressive. you can take the shaft out and run as a single stage. I like LEEs carbide dies. Also with the LEE you can change the turret so it makes caliber changes faster. That's the opinion of a starter as I haven't loaded anything except 30-30 range loads. And for what I use normally it is cheaper per round.
  23. I started with 30-30 because I bought the press from a cowboy action shooter. I have dies for my .45 ACP now and still hanging on to the 45 LC dies. I'll have one I'm sure. Next is .32 ACP. Now someone have a clue where I can get some primers??
  24. yeah,,,I want one too. I've been looking for a .44 mag Bisley. I can justify it because every time I go to Sportsman's warehouse they have ammo.
  25. well ammo sales have now scratched one of my local stores from my visit/buy from list. Went in last night, said good evening, put my mask on and per the notice on the door proceeded to the table and "sanitized" my hands. I proceeded directly to the ammo isle and found what I wanted. One of the staff came over and asked if he could help me find anything. "No thank you, I found what I need" I made my choice between the two different bullets and picked up two boxes. As I straightened up he returned to tell me they have a limit of one box. (20 rds) in each caliber. Ok, put one box back and made a walk around the store to see what guns they had and prices. I didn't tarry as it was near closing time. I went to the counter and was told "I can't sell you that, we are closed" I bought 60 rounds off Gun Broker this morning. I won't miss the local shop as we have two more and a sportsmans warehouse in town. by the way, the ammo I bought was reasonably priced. Got hit with shiooing of course but the seller messaged me that if I needed anything else he would not charge extra so I could have placed a bigger order and spread the shipping charges out.
