One of the protesters at the Capitol had a sign reading "I'm safer here than in class" This shows So much. I would feel safer surrounded by armed state police and security.

 

As far as vouchers, I would support the idea. Back years ago parochial schools spent less per student, had smaller classes, and produced more college grads. Our schools have gotten too large and unfortunately are not preparing our children for life. Not sure where we are headed but it isn't where we should be.

Lastly, luck, fate, or the hand of God was there, 152 rounds fired, 6 lives lost.

just for the record, I have TWO boxes of JHP,,,in 9mm. I lost count on .45. And yes, loaded .45s are heavy. I find that weight comforting.

Just a reflection of the entitled self-appreciative part of our current society. Have to laugh. It's the seller's choice, folks have different standards for who to sell to, I see ads with "must have TN CCW" and I pass. Doesn't make me mad or want to start Karen crap. Besides, from the OP comments on how many he has bought/sold it sounds like a flipper. I wouldn't sell to him even if I were selling. I'm keeping everything I have for now. I have a Marlin branded 3-6 on my 30-30. the magnification ring doesn't work, the outer ring moves but the mag doesn't change. Does anyone here know how to fix scopes? I want to keep the "matching" scope on this. (since we're discussing scopes on lever rifles) LOL

my very favorite gun person tested and reviewed a CZ75. Col. Cooper declared it the second best handgun in the world and wrote that it would be hard to decide number one if it fired .45 ACP. When EAA came out with the Witness clone in .45 I bought the first one I found. Great pistol but one of those regretted sales discussed in another thread. Now they are ridiculously priced and it's hard to find a base, non-race gun. The only fault I found is the grip is too big for my hand. If I'd known then what I know now it would have thinner grip panels and be my favorite pistol. I never have "gun money" when a CZ97 comes up, so sad.

Only two I do not regret selling, a cheap SA .22 revolver that was out of time and the .38 spl derringer I traded for it. these were my first wo handguns when I turned 21. The derringer would have been fine if I'd known not to shoot +P through it.

Lost three when I went through a divorce, lawyers are expensive. Traded a few. now I won't sell any. Might trade if something high on my list comes up but then it will be another regret. My kids will get all of mine.

pin vise and miniature drill bit. they make very small drill and extractor pairs. I can't remember where I got mine but most likely from a hobby shop.

I didn't get the impression of "what would you carry" from David's original post. I do tend to think that way rather than target or plinking though. There is also the hunting aspect, at one point (when I was MUCH younger) I wanted to hunt big bear with a handgun and as such I think the Redhawk would be my choice over an S&W or a 10mm. 

I like the Bersa but personally would not use any rimmed semi auto for defense. For a true mouse gun the Browning Baby cannot be beaten. 9 ounces empty and mine has been reliable. My dad had one for all of my life and he told me he couldn't jam it even when he tried. .25 ACP is just as capable ballistically from pistol length barrel as any .22 

didn't mean to leave out the collectors. I would put Greg's P08 near the top for me there. Wish I knew who dad sold his to.

For reference, when I traded for my Browning it had rust and lint "bunnies" in it. a good cleaning and a little oil and she runs like a Browning should. The only reason it sits in my safe is my P32.

Thanks David. you had to start something near and dear to my heart. Most all of my handguns are out of the mainstream. I have a soft spot for Taurus, at the moment I own 4. I much prefer all metal handguns and have never owned a Glock. I see a lot of "the last blank I would ever sell" and it would be a very hard decision but my little Firestar M45 would probably be it. It's small (Officers Model size) but heavy, accurate, and the two I've owned were dead anvil reliable. The only failure I ever encountered was due to ammo covered in brass shavings. 
Oh, I don't care for striker fired and only have a couple, one is new to me and I have yet to test it but it may replace the PF9 as daily.

my P32 has been 100% reliable with everything I've fed it. I have heard Kel-Tec was hit and miss but I like mine so much I bought a PF9.

Nice job as with everything I've seen from Greg.

Another wrong handed rig I built for someone. Have yet to try the traditional carving but have to make a rig for a navy replica so it's coming. The bird was a real pain to carve. 
I've found a lot of good tips on Springfield and Weaver's channels on the utube. edge lacing is hard, my first holster I tried it, baseball stitch. It was actually the best part of that one LOL.
