  1. Have any of you guys come across a bitchin camping spot while hiking around or glassing? Spot being defined as anywhere I can put a tent & have a fire. I’m looking for a week trip with just the dogs & do not want to see a human unless they’re passing through looking for game. I do not care if it’s “legal” so long as it’s not private property unless I can get permission which I’d gladly pay for (which would be ideal). I absolutely will not keep my shepherds on a leash & keep my fire in a 24” steel ring which is all I’m finding here. I’m a self employed general contractor, it’s been an insane summer & will not have the energy to pack kit in so a fire road or some sort of 4wd truck access is the only other criteria I’m looking to meet. I grew up at the base of the Sierra-Nevada’s & have spent over 70 nights between 7 & 11,000 feet in February, solo, so I’m no novice camper. Ive camped where the Donner party got stuck & resorted to the last resort. I shouldn’t have to say this but it’s 22; as an Eagle Scout I practice “leave no trace” & pick up random trash daily. I will not be hunting unless I see squirrels or rabbits to feed to the dogs. My mom & my grandma are dying & I absolutely have to decompress & find some peace before dealing with family & funerals. Any tips or contacts appreciated. Tristartradesmen.com has a brief bio for context & some personal info.
  2. Heads up. This guys word means ####. He put me a day behind schedule at work, inconvenienced the clients for another day & cost my employees half a days OT pay. Never again will I offer to meet a guy 45 miles away at the exact location he will be, at the exact time he will be there. You shouldn’t either unless you do the same thing to people. The 4th Tngo member that’s not kept his word out of the 10 items I’ve offered to buy or literally give away. If you’ve ever flaked on a guy or gone back on your word you are literally the problem with America.
  3. I’ll come get them if they flake. I pm’d you my number.
  4. I’m looking for an entry level pistol, nothing fancy as I’ve got that covered. Not too picky about anything-barrel length, condition, round count, etc. However, the lower must be either an 80% build or registered pistol when first sold. I will consider a grendel but would prefer 5.56. Shoot me a pm if you have something within a reasonable distance of Spring Hill.
  5. Bad unit. Definitely looks cool & chucks a monster round down range. Might be super valuable in 10 years when literally all semi autos are illegal & all illegals are legal. Garandthumb just posted a video on modern 45-70’s.
  6. Wholly ####. You guys are way out of line. What about that was intended to be funny? And how could you even interpret it as intended to be. Your sensitivity is as out of place as your anger. An online comment is not the place to vent it. Go join the people’s convoy, it’ll make you feel good & relieve some tension. Just one person deciding to attack Willis’ business on social media or online is much worse than choosing to rename a knife called black class. He might need you then, to defend his name, not when a legitimate comment with his well-being in mind is made. Go advertise a series of knives called a black class knife & see what you get. Be sure to post em on Facebook. Especially if you’re an old white guy & you put a low price on them. Welcome to 2022. The anger, attitude & arrogance needs to be checked. If you’ve read this far-think about the fight your choosing to fight & why & then look at what’s happening in this country & think about that & how you’re helping her (or Willis). Unless you served in Vietnam; disregard everything. Welcome home. Omega; logic! I got most of those 209’s loaded up & have a few hundred left if you need some for the powder gun.
  7. Sounds pretty racist. You’ll need to rename them so you don’t upset some rancid progressive
  8. This post should be rewritten with an accurate title & clearer description.
  9. Sold
  10. Alright guys, I’ll try to be detailed here. I have to move. The biggest logistical hurdle is an 1800 pound (empty) gun safe. The best method for moving this thing is to rent the largest skid steer available, place the bucket over top of the safe, strap the safe into the bucket, lift it & lay it on its back into the bed of a truck or onto a deck over trailer. The truck bed must have tie down brackets at the cab. If you’re up for transporting the safe from 37137 to a currently unknown location around Nashville send me a pm. Obviously there will be compensation unless you’re retired and looking for an adventure of course. Along with the safe there will be 8,000+ rounds of ammunition that must stay with the safe & within my eye site during the move. I’m guessing a combined 3000 pounds. The firearms & gun powder will be in my truck that will be towing the skid steer along with what ever else will fit to the new house. There will be minimal labor required on your part, maybe moving some 2x4 or short pieces of pipe used to roll the safe into the bed. A deck over trailer (no car haulers) would be easier but not necessary. If you know anyone with a large (1 yard bucket) skid steer I would pay them for letting me use it. Even better would be a guy with a 30 foot deck over & the skid steer but that’s pushin my luck. There is no better way or alternative method other than hiring a crew. I will also need to use the skid steer to remove 80 T-post I installed for the fence which I figure will take an hour. This also means I’ll have 2-90 pound shepherds to worry about. Since the moving date is unknown I can’t be held up with a companies schedule nor will I jam up their schedule. Once I find a suitable house things will be put into motion relatively quickly. Again, huge bonus if you’re retired & flexible. Ive never needed a hand moving this thing but logistically it makes sense to have a second truck, I have no idea what safe movers charge but I know a guy or gal gottsta get paid for their time. We could trade time for ammo as well. If you can help, let me know. Thanks.
  11. Since no one was serious about buying the presses with all the supplies I’ll separate the supplies from the presses. 3,000 12ga, 2 3/4 hulls. $150 1500 20ga, 2 3/4 hulls. $75 2,000ish 209’s. $220 75 pounds of steel & lead #7 shot. $125 2+ pounds of titewad. Whatever market $ was before the greatest scam in human history 5+ pounds of Herco. Whatever market value $ was before the great reset started 2 3/4 wads. $12/bag 1600 LPP’s. $175 4 pounds of Vectan Tubal. $25 per pound 1,500 Seller & Ballet LRP’s. $170 Buy it ALL for; $67,000!
  12. Negative ghost rider. I called the guy who pm’d & left a Vm, no response...not surprised. It’s not a big deal, things tend to work out. Kind of a niche market & a lot of money. Hell, you could buy 3 tanks of fuel & a rib eye with that money & have enough left over for a tall boy.
  13. Yea, ####ty times we’ve been forced into. Thank your local Democrats. Ive been looking for a place since December as I foresaw this coming last year. tristartradesmen.com
  14. 16’ x 75.5” between the fenders. Decent tires, bearings services, not bent or beat up, no brakes, no title, new wiring, tongue jack works good. 5” channel not 4” like most. I bought it from an old timer who towed a zero turn on it. It’s probably had 500 miles put on it in the last 5 years. There is absolutely no such thing as a heavy duty trailer with 5 lug axles. It’s unbelievable the crap people push around here. $2100. PM your phone number if interested.
  15. My landlord just informed me she’s selling the house I’m renting because she can’t afford repairs. Go figure Ive never missed a payment & she mismanaged her money. It was inherited, no mortgage, pennies for taxes. No major repairs have been completed...ever! If you know anyone with a rental in the Nashville area that is big (outdoor) dog friendly with a garage please let me know. The size of the house is irrelevant but I definitely need a garage in a very safe neighborhood for tools & equipment. I have fencing to enclose the yard if need be. Tristartrasesmen.com will give them a good bio. Thanks, Tyler
  16. My landlord just informed me she is loosing the home I’m renting. Ive spent all my savings traveling back & forth to CA to see my mom & grandma who are both gravely I’ll. Toys have to go. ####ty spot to be in. Price drop $3,000
  17. Primers up for sale or trade. Pre-Scamdemic price, $120 & whatever deal is worked out you must drive to meet me in Nunnelly or Dickson. Send pictures of whatever you have for trade. I’m really looking for a high quality 3-5 day pack with padded shoulder straps & waist belt. Knives, Milwaukee fuel tools/batteries, Ammo, ground beef/steaks. If it’s sharp or dangerous I might be interested. Keep in mind $120 is pocket change these days & not worth any hassle whatsoever. You can fill up the tank in my truck if you want to use credit.
  18. I’m kicking around the idea of selling my long range rifle or possibly trading for a 300win mag. The rifle was purchased new by me, barrel was broken in per mark & sams break in procedure. Round count around 6-700. It’s only had a soft patch ran through it a couple times. Scope was sent to Burris for a health check up after I moved & checked out good. It’s been bore sighted but not re-zeroed. I don’t think there’s a mark or scratch on anything. -Factory stainless, long range heavy barreled action & trigger -Masterpiece arms comp chassis -Chassis weights fore & aft -Bag rider -Barrier stop -Offset cheek riser -Spigot mount -Custom butt pad riser. Greatly reduced muzzle rise -Vertical grip -Clamp on Witt break -20moa rail -Cant remember who made the rings -Burris xtr 5-25x50, sfp, mil. Depending on all factors it will reach out to 2150y -190 perfectly prepped & loaded match rounds. Hornaday brass & eld match projectiles -200+ fully prepped & primed cases. Mostly Hornaday -130 ish match projectiles -UTG bipod. I tried 4 bipods & this is the best bipod for this use I’ve found -Comp dies -You’ll get the load data including oal, neck tension, optimum projectile weight & charge & velocity. Turn key long range rifle. I meticulously assembled & maintained her & always transported it in a big hard case with extra padding. There’s probably some things I’m forgetting but you get the idea. It will shoot 10 out of 10 at 1,000y on an 9x18 silhouette. Ive hit a plate at 1,900y over a 700 foot canyon (luck). 7mm mag is absolutely the best round for the average long range shooter factoring accuracy & cost. The rifle is more accurate than most shooters. Possible trade for a 300 wing mag or PRC suitable for a new long range build (absolutely no hunting rifles) or a low cost SBR with an unregistered lower plus cash. Must be unregistered or registered SBR. Home builds are fine. $3,400.00 cash, gold or silver. Possibly Bitcoin or eth. I think I have close to 5k into everything pictured
  19. Unfortunate times brother. That’s a nice collection. Hopefully whatever the outcome is, it was worth selling.
  20. Got some good leads here. I don’t mind the drive, it’ll just make a full day out of the trip to the range which is fine. And I’ll be less complacent about it. I’ve asked around at all the local gun stores & not one guy has known anyone that’s into relatively long range shooting. A couple hundred yards was the max which is pretty much what everyone around here can get on their properties. I’d love to get back out to 18-1900+ Yards. 1000 is still a pretty good click to get back into rhythm. It’s been a few years. Thanks for the replies.
  21. I just moved to 37137 and I’m looking for somewhere to do some long range shooting. If you’re into long range & need a second guy for spotting we can meet up (I’ll need a spotter for anything over 4-500 yards too). I used to go deep into the Sierra Nevada’s & set up a 4 gun course. 4 mags through the AR, 4 through the pistol, 4 reloads of the shotgun then lay down and try to bang 10 at 1,000. It was incredibly fun & super challenging. Laying down with the chest rig & thigh holster added a second dynamic on top of being short on breath. I’d love to get back into this. I’ve looked into a few of the ranges and the waiting list is deep, plus it’s not super conducive for precision load work up and practice. Public land is ideal or if you know anyone with a lot of land I’d be more than happy to pay for access. I have no criminal record, an hcp & state/federal clearance from when I worked in the prisons. Any suggestions?
