mmmm...dark and stormy is a fav of mine. Mixed with Picketts Ginger beer syrup, club soda, and a decent dark rum like Goslings or even Appletons. Add a squeeze of lime and I'm in business.

Just remember, that even though you might be using electric or propane (I have a gas smoker) you still have to keep wood in it to make the smoke.

Not only the pills, but the question concerning whether the vet or someone else is handling their financial affairs. There's no way this is not laying the groundwork for for a possible ruling of incompetence along with confiscation of firearms. -

This partly explains why the VA is so adamant about getting as many Vets as possible on drugs. Particularly pain killers. It's easy to write off an addicted vet as "incompetent" and then remove their weapons from their possession. -

Be aware, be safe, and enjoy. I used to love to go to DC 25 years ago when my kids were kids. One Sunday I got a parking place in front of the Smithsonian on the street.

Both Arlington and the National Cemetery are in VA. Do not carry a weapon or even ammo into DC proper. If caught you will be arrested. Once you cross the Potomac you're in dangerous territory.

Possibly hickory. I use hickory and some oak. Fruit woods are also popular with some folks.
