Well said Mac. As the husband of a teacher I find most of the comments here emblematic of folks taking a position without having the facts. What with the SOL requirements, the crowded classrooms, and the way teachers are micromanaged by everyone from the US Dept of Ed, to the TN Dept of Ed, and so on, most of the crap I'm hearing spouted is not based in fact. Now let the hating begin

I wish I knew the answer GT. My personal leaning is that a good and deadly flu pandemic might be the planet's answer. I often feel that there's just too many of us.

Just being an armed citizen doesnt necessarily translate into being an asset in a school shooting situation. That's the ugly truth we gun owners refuse to recognize.

I've had CZ shotguns a .22 rifles for years. Love em. Just recently picked up a 75c. Great little handgun. And a buddy of mine got the aforementioned Canick. It's a nice CZ clone.
