  1. Gunbroker contrdicts itself one paragraph below the quote Any shipper who does not have an FFL is considered to be an unlicensed person. Unlicensed persons must ship modern firearms to a licensed FFL dealer only. If the buyer is not licensed, they will need to make arrangements to have the item shipped to a licensed FFL dealer in their state.
  2. Finally. I've been looking for something that's almost as good as .308 for a long time.
  3. Minute of squirrel head...I'm still laughing....
  4. Not sure if any is left but Midway has surplus .308 at .58 per round. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/109678/military-surplus-austrian-ammunition-762x51mm-nato-146-grain-full-metal-jacket-battle-packs-of-240-12-boxes-of-20
  5. Funny story about Fleetwood Mac. I was familiar with the band when they did Bare Trees and Mystery To Me albums. So I had a buddy at James Madison in Harrisonburg and in late 76 he called and said he had tickets for their show at James Madison. So I'm anticipating the blues band I was familiar with and they came out and did the Rumours album. This was just before they became the 70's radio gods that made them famous. Awesome show.
  6. Well two outta three ain't bad...:-)

  9. Fwiw their stuff has been re-issued. Amazon has them.
  10. Goose creek used to do the Tricities, Asheville circuit back in the day.
  11. I have a fond memory of Yes. I spent 2 weeks in Italy when their first album came out. It was on all the pop stations at the time so every time I hear them I think of italy and Italian women.
  12. Also when did Jimi tour anywhere south of the Mason Dixon line? We all heard him but I don't know anyone who had the joy of seeing him.
  13. One of the reasons rock did so well in the 70's is because of all the touring the bands did. Most every mid size city built a civic center . A band could tour the east coast alone for 4 to 6 months.
  14. I guess for me the ultimate was the Allman brothers. Saw them in late 71 when Duane was still alive. Followed in 72 by the Who in Greensboro. Actually met, well at least saw up close and personal in the lobby of the 4 Seasons Hotel, the Who and had words with Daltrey and a couple of good looking blondes. I greatly enjoyed the 70's rock and roll scene and all that went with it.
  15. Allman Brothers The who CsNY ELP Zepplin
  16. Howdy. Where'd you escape from?
  17. Great story and my condolences.
  18. Well if it's not a commercial enterprise that would help. But if your city requires building permits and there are setback regulations, etc you'r more than probably SOL. As Whisper said, do it elsewhere.
  19. Last renewal i had to go in person. The lady at the dmv indicated that indeed new pics of old men are required.
  20. Now that you mention it i do recall him being a man of faith.
  21. Howdy. Where'd you escape from?
