  1. They do one at the shrine temple in the tri cities occasionally. Never have I seen so many S&W revolvers at one spot none of which were for sale.
  2. I have a pair of Walkers that have served me well. Used them 3 years so far. I think I paid about $50.00 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001T7QJ9O/ref=sspa_dk_hqp_detail_aax_0?psc=1
  3. My condolences. Every time I lose one it breaks my heart.
  4. I think you've realized just how suburban a good portion of TN has become. Everyone thinks we're real rural, but every year that's a little less true. We ain't cheek to jowl everywhere yet, but every year it's a little more.
  5. Now that I have a grandson in Kville I'd love to arrange a visit wherein i could shoot something that isn't my son in law...
  6. I will say that there's something special about a 100 year old 1911 that I can take to the range and shoot. If one can't appreciate it for what it is there's plenty of modern guns to choose from. I suppose collectable is in the eye of the beholder. No offense.
  7. I bought mine locally just so i don't have to deal with CMP.
  8. You say that now, but I feel sure you'll wander off at some point.
  9. But just think, when you're old and drooling and still want to carry all you'll have to do is occasionally show up and smile and nod for a picture...
  10. Note that I said approaching. No need for a diaper drve yet.
  11. I'm afraid my hipster persona has abandoned me in favor of my grouchy old man approaching incontinence persona.
  12. I love these recurring threads in search of the holy grail. Been a while since we had one.
  13. I thought tanks were date stamped for about a 7 year life span.
  14. Do you know how to attach a photo to an email and send it?
  15. Get some .22 shorts. You'll be surprised.
  16. I saw this lot in 72. Asheville I think it was.
