  1. The hard part was figuring out how to make enough money to get back home.
  2. Same here. I can host them and send you a link to insert into your post.
  3. Saw them together this evening in Bristol. A great show. They have several more dates in TN. I recommend seeing them if your a fan of either. Here's a link to tour dates https://tour.lylelovett.com
  4. August of 74 I was 19 and bumming through Italy.
  5. As the old Chinese curse says, "may you live in interesting times". Those were, as is today.
  6. I had some problems with spyderco some years ago. I usually carry AlMar or a case Sodbuster.
  7. This is a sad thread.
  8. Secondary market lenders typically dont allow you to keep insurance in that manner. You might get away with it from your local hometown bank, but even they shy away from it.
  9. I used to be in the mortgage lending and servicing business. If you have a loan on a property there's not a lender out there that participates in the business that doesn't require homeowners insurance. Even if it's assigned risk. The lender doesn't give a crap about the homeowner, just their portfolio and mandated federal reporting. And in my experience the lender receives proof of insurance directly from the companies. Once again, I'm not saying it can't happen, but it's not common at all due to the fact that the feds have the lenders by the balls.
  10. You should pay more attention to the news. Did you happen to notice how far inland flooding occurred from the last big blow?
  11. Your intel was better than mine.
  12. There's always room in the safe for the right wheel gun...
  13. Not possible. Unless it was some kind of loan shark lender. Feds require insurance on loans and ive yet to see a legitimate lender that didn't require insurance.
  14. No one with a mortgage is uninsured.
  15. Perhaps if the evidence of man made global warming wasn't so evident we could all have a little more compassion.
  16. Having been there I concur with your analysis.
  17. Probably just a lonely old geezer trying to keep from just crawling in a hole and giving up. Or a chinese keyboard jockey trying spread dissension and disinformation among the rank and file.
  18. There you go poking me in the eye...lol. Probably not. Truth is we're all just dinosaurs anyway. Let's just get brutally honest. People like us are a dying breed. Most everyone under 50 expects the government to take care of them. And they'll get their wish. At the cost of their freedom. This is gonna be the future. When there's this many people on the planet there's no choice but for government to control most aspects of our lives. Best we can hope for is a particularly deadly strain of the flue. Thin the herd as it were.
  19. Not necessarily. There are lots of regional banks just as happy as pigs in #### that have no desire to sell to anyone. The one i bank with has been an indy for at least 20 years.
  20. Anything that tactcally tigerish is bound to be of the finest quality.
  21. There's more Bourbon in barrels right now than there's ever been. Drink it. Who deserves it more than me, er oops I mean you
  22. Wo...this thread makes me glad I gave up on 2 wheels when I did.
