  1. Whole foods is ok. A little expensive. In my market Kroger actually does a pretty good job.
  2. My wife and I have tried to source our food locally since we were first married. Had our first "organic" garden in 1978. We both grew up in families that raised gardens and canned. We raised our own beef. Back in the day we didn't put much chemicals on our gardens and the animals we raised for food didn't get hormones and such. I think the trick is not to think "organic" but to try and source your food as locally as possible. I recommend local farmers markets in season. When winter comes we all have to buy from the grocer. Some of the "organic" stuff is ok, but sometimes you have to eat what's fresh and looks good. Everything in life is a tradeoff. You'd be better off concentrating less on organic and paying attention to the food you eat. More veggies. less meat and dairy. Just my .02
  3. Have you asked your Dad about this? Something has obviously upset your brother. His wife perhaps? My only advice would be to not cut off your nose to spite your face. While you may want to visit less often, he's still your brother.
  4. I would say you are a voter. It would be nice to have "none of the above".
  5. Pretty good percentage of voters so far, but still a small sampling...
  6. Too funny.

    Can't decide

If you want something easily concealable I vote Kahr. Either the PM or CW. I typically carry the PM40. It's never let me down.
  8. Good idea. Sigforum was doing the same thing. Keeps the ads for cellphones off the forum...lol.
  9. With the current ruling restricting our right to carry we are all pretty pissed off. However as citizens of the US we have resposibilities and we also have the right to change things we don't like. It's called the ballot box. I am curious what percentage of us actually vote. So here's the question: DO YOU VOTE EVERY ELECTION IF IT IS AT ALL POSSIBLE? If you only vote every 4 years, vote NO. If you vote as often as possible, barring illnes or other circumstances, vote YES. Remember that no one can find out how you vote, and please be honest.
  10. +1. Why would any restaurant owe an HCP holder anything. I understand this is an emotional issue. But we seem way off base in some of the posts here. Do we need to make our displeasure known? Certainly. But until something occurs that changes the system, we have to proceed working through the system we have. Even though it stinks. just my ,02.
  11. Luke....Luke.....
  12. There should be something about that somewhere on the web...
  13. Also, a majority of the stimulus money that went to education could not be used for recurring expenses. As a result it had to be spent on hiring mostly part time employees serving as teachers aides, resource instructors, reading instructors etc. No real jobs mind you, just temporary mostly part time stuff. And as a result the administration gets to brag about all the new jobs it created. Complete and total bull:poop:
