  2. The same spineless weasel that sold out local input for education by taking Federal Race To The Top funds. Gutless.

:cool:Good for you. Few things beat a nice session of bang-bang...
  4. +1. The Beltman. You get what you pay for.
  5. I saw Ray Wylie in Asheville last night. I've been converted.
  6. All for about a thousand bucks.
  7. I'd have to say that most of the time TGO is just fine. I typically work on one of 2 laptops. One is an older XP machine using IE8. The other a newer W7 machine with IE8. I also use Firefox on both machines at times. Does it run slow occasionally? Sure...it is the internet after all. My connection is a Charter 25/1.5. AV is Avast. So when I posted this I got a 408 time out error.
  8. It's a little sweet, like Dickel.
  9. Just think, this is a commercial product...

Thank God that he returned safe and sound.
  12. You should be proud that you had the good sense to just let the @$$wipe drive on. This guy has a future in some sort of fiery roadside collision. Well done.
  13. Cool. Good luck. We did the same thing back about 77. A friend of mine's father was a Baptist minister. We weren't...Baptists that is. He however agreed to do the deed on the front porch of the farmhouse we were renting. I hope it works out.
  14. 0 for me.
  15. It tastes oily. Hellman's is the most palatable.
  16. One of my first musical memories is of listening to Johnny Cash do "Burning Ring of Fire" on the radio of my dad's Corvair. He passed in 64 so it must have been early that year or maybe late in 63. My first record purchase was Beatles 65. I recall staying up late at night listening to WOWO on am radio. I ran away to Athens, GA with my wild cousin in 70 to catch the Allman Brothers. The rest is history, including Rare Earth, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, CSNY, Muddy Waters.....and on and on. I've been blessed to enjoy a lot of good music. And honestly I still get out on a regular basis. Live music has always been very important for my soul.

    My grandaddy

Thanks everybody. The funeral is late this afternoon. By then I'm gonna need that libation of choice myself.
  18. I'd appreciate it if ya'll would have a libation to honor my 101 year old grandaddy who passed today. He was quite a fella. He had the fewest words of any man I've known and I once saw him grab a bull by the nose ring and put it flat on the ground.

  23. Congrats. WTF? You order it and they can't sell it to you w/o the manager checking you out?
  24. All I can say to that is...Vogons.
