I'd agree that in some ways the NRA has lost it's mind. Every organisation gets seduced by the power it achieves. At least they're on our side and take a vocal stand.

I've been in the same circles as Ron for almost 25 years. He is certainly a hungry politician but I know his people. Folks in NE TN are for the most part conservative low key folks. I'm sure he's gotten self important like most people in politics, but we're a pretty reasonable low key bunch here in the Tri-Cities area. I think this is what he has to bring to the table. Like a great many of us in the area he grew up with a strong family, going to church, and gun friendly. No, I'm not working for him. At least Ron hasn't gone on TV telling us all the great things he accomplished and bragging like Zach. As for Haslam, I don't really care about his teenage sweetheart wife. I'm more interested in his financial disclosure, which I am not sure he's been forthcoming with. Just my 02.

Looks like Ramsey. Haslam makes me twitch, and I just don't like Wamp at all. Ron ain't the brightest bulb, but I think he probably means well. I just hope he can govern.

This is a good recommendation. One has to learn to shoot. An LCP is a most uncivilzed shooter, whereas a G19 or a Sig 226 is a much better shooting weapon. Just having an HCP doesn't mean much without practice and training.I had not been much of a shooter for many years, but in early 2007 I had an incident that encouraged me to take up shooting again. One of my great joys has been in learning to shoot again and in becoming a pretty damn good shot.
