  1. Last year I had the "flu". Several ways that it manifested itself was in respiratory distress and a loss of the ability to taste or smell, which still bothers me today. I was sick for weeks. I've also met several others that had similar symptoms. I'm convinced that the covid virus has been circulating for a while.....
  2. Yep. And I prefer the corn myself.
  3. Well bourbon is a whiskey...but so are scotch and Irish whiskey. The difference is usually the type of grain used for fermentation or the combination of grains. Bourbon is heavy on the corn.
  4. While I prefer bourbons, I'm certainly open to suggestions...lol. Last night I enjoyed the Clontarf (Irish), but tonight will be bourbon.
  5. My condolences. And let me say...yehaw....more for me.....
  6. Well nothing else is working right, why should TGO be any different? Stick around, it's ok here when the world isn't going to crap.....
  7. I feel her pain. And I still need to get to Southern States for that sweet feed...
  8. I need a couple of bags of sweetfeed.
  9. What I'm seeing is that properties are getting snapped up pretty quickly. Some of it is buyers from out of market, but the majority are current residents looking to take advantage of the insane rates. It's a little crazy out there. My take on it is from being an appraiser ..... not a realtor. It's a pretty weird time to be looking to buy imho.....
  10. Let's hope we don't live long enough to have someone say that about us.
  11. You are aware that there's a significant portion of those states population that aren't liberal t*rds?
  12. My boyhood friend and I were, shall we say somewhat troublesome. We looked up the recipe for black powder. Talked his mom into a trip to Rexall drug where we bought saltpeter and sulfur. Used some charcoal and brewed up a batch of credible black powder. Then we took a can of Mountain Dew (before the era of poptops) punched a hole in the center of the top and drained out the soda. Let it dry and filled it with our homebrew powder. Used a sparkler for the fuse, lit it and watched. It sputtered for a bit and then the powder really caught fire. The can went about 20 feet high and exploded. We were grounded for a couple of months...lol
  13. It pays to be a boy scout. I'm only surprised by a general lack of situational awareness.
  14. Glad to see this post. I'm in the same boat. I'm curious to see the responses myself.
