I'm not a big fan of the UMC pistol ammo either. My Kahr really didn't like the .40 and it seems to me to be a pretty dirty round.

I've been doing a 147gr round nose lead with 3.8 gr of Green Dot. It's pretty slow but it cycles well. Muzzle flip is reduced quite a bit. It's probably about 940 fps according to the load charts.

Are those lead or jacketed?

Price per acre is gonna depend on where you are, the terrain, road frontage, amount of acreage, etc. Properties that cannot be subdivided often sell for less per acre. Mountainous acreage usually sell for less per acre. I suggest picking up a local Real Estate magazine and starting there.
