It seems that several TGO'ers have a taste for glass of good whiskey. I thought it might be a good idea to share what we find. TGO David recommended Jefferson Reserve VSB to me. I keep a bottle in the cabinet. Today I picked up a bottle of Elmer T Lee single barrel. 90 proof, 14 years old. This one starts out with a big hit of apricot and finishes with vanilla and spice.

Mine perhaps. My rant is that, like Dicks, the staff is typically not particularly informed about what they sell and as such like to lord their presumed authority over the customer. Then again, perhaps I'm just a jackass.

I'm looking for another .22 and recently shot one of these. What do you think about yours?

My experience with Bass Pro is that none of the staff has one in the chamber. It's like going to a Dicks with boats.
