  1. I agree with Lester, sounds like a combination of things. The rounds may not feed due to a case with too much bell at the mouth. FTE does sound like a weak load. As for the 1.169 that's maximum length.
  2. Is your OAL correct? If the OAL is close and you're getting a crimp in the case it is probably becasue the mouth isn't belled enough for the bullet.
  3. Selected infrastructure blackouts?
  4. I have this friend in Commifornia. Back in th mid 90's she put forth a theory that the government was going to make eveything illegal so they could send us all to prison. Then the prison workforce would be farmed out to GM.
  5. We're fortunate that not all teachers are idiots.
  6. That's a deal.
  7. The last one is a homeboy. George Dickel Barrel Select. This is really a nice bottle, a little sweet with honey and vanilla in the mix. I just opened this one but I have a feeling it's gonna have a place in my liquor cabinet.
  8. Next up is the Four Roses Single Barrel. I liked this one better than the Small Batch. It's a little bigger in the glass. It's not a sweet bourbon, lots of rye.
  9. So I've got 3 new ones I've tried. First up is the Ridgemont Reserve 1792. This one is another of the Sazerac owned companies and the nose and taste definitely have a big rye influence. Reminds me somewhat of the Jefferson Reserve.
  10. I'm using a 225gr LRN with 5.0 gr of Unique. It's working well.
  11. yeah I'm scared.
  12. That's a good deal. I am friends with the designer Ed Van Hoy. Hell of a nice guy. You ought to see his custom work.
  13. I have to say that as an old guy I really hated rap. But I did always have a soft spot for the Beastie Boys, thanks to my daughter.
  14. They're just doing their Due Diligence.
  15. So a mint Julep is just a brown Mojito?
  16. Pay attention to your bullet. I usually do lead and since the sizes vary I sometimes have to play with it. It's an extra step, but well worth it.
  17. We have our asparagus bed. In our garden we've got collards, turnips, beets, radishes, onions, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, and peppers. So far I'm eating radishes, collards and turnip greens. And it looks like I have a few turnips big enough to pull.
  18. I have better luck at .469
  19. Not the safest or most astute bunch of shooters I've ever seen.
  20. I usually wear a gun to go shoot my gun. A little bit shady.
  21. All the primers I've used have been fine except for PMC. CCI, Winchester, and Wolf all work just fine.
  22. for .45 I'm currently using 5.0gr of unique with a 225gr RNL. Good for plinking and cost effective.
  23. I am really saddened by this, seems like a personal loss to me. RIP Levon.
  24. I have a Mk 3. When I put mine back together I had the same issue of the spring not seating. I found at if I held the gun level to start and then tilted the rear down as I seated the spring it finally secured. It really is a PIA. Good luck
