  1. That's why I'm drinking Yeungling.
  2. Sounds like my teenage years. A twinkie and a PBR. Breakfast of champions!
  3. David is dlm37015 He is at most of the RK shows and is a great source of supplies. As for the Lee 1000. I really have no opinion, but I did have the Lee Loadmaster and it was not satisfactory.
  4. The best advice I can give you is to buy a couple of good reloading manuals first. For supplies look for local gun shows and pay attention on here to see if our reloading guru David is going to be there in order to get powder and primers.
  5. Both Wally's in Bristol have some reloading stuff.
  6. I use the RCBS carbide. Work well. I saw a set at Walmart today. Also any time I've needed any parts for the dies, like decapping pins, I've called RCBS and they've sent them N/C. Good folks.
  7. Dickel No. 12 is bargain.
  8. That's what he means. Just go. David will have all or most of what you need.
  9. No disrespect, but is it possible that it was a problem with the way you're holding the weapon? Maybe get it to the range and shoot it a bit. Certainly if it continues to FTE I'd get it looked at.
  10. Have you shot this pistol much before today?
  11.   It's loud.
  12. I had a similar problem with a LRN 225 gr in my Remington .45. I shortened the load just enough to fit the chamber with no problems. FWIW SAAMI shows a minimum OAL of 1.00 for 9mm.
  13.   I didn't even look at any ammo.
  14. Thanks. I wasn't familiar with that one. Interesting specs.
  15. Sorry but I'm a bit dense. What round is this chambered in?
  16. Maybe we need an anti-2a thread so we can vote with our wallets.
  17. I guess that answered your question.lol
  18. Based solely on the amount of brass I see on the ground I'd say little change. Probably the indoor ranges have seen an increase, but I bet the real ranges that offer a variety of shooting disciplines have not. Maybe when the weather warms up.
  19. Here's an interesting piece in the NYT. President 0 talking about gun owners and his skeet shooting prowess.   Guess he just one of us.
  20. He had quite a few at about 1:00
  21.   That was indeed me. Old guy, black hat ,
  22. Depends on what you want. I actually saw some decent prices on Colt 1911's. Of course I also saw a $2500.00 Colt Python 6".
  23. I made it down this morning. It was very good to catch up with Garufa and Lumber_Jack. As usual David delivered the goods at an exemplary price. I also had the pleasure of bringing my good friend to meet David. It was fun to listen to the armored cavalry and the aviation corps swap a few choice stories. Thank you David for your service.
  24. Works for me.
