  1. Yeah the numbers add up for me. I just figure the labor is the same as shooting because I load at times the weather sucks. Also buying powder in large containers. Bottom line is either you want to be more self sufficient or you want to be dependent on Wal-Mart. All I know is I don't ever pay much attention to ammo prices. And let me add that I shoot every week.
  2. And somehow I still feel like it's the government's fault.
  3. Although I will say that you can save money if you don't count your labor. Another trick is to get a comprehensive load book. You'd be surprised how many powders you can use.
  4. Don't forget ammo cans. You can always find them at a reasonable price.
  5. Well no ones more trustworthy than a politician. Of any stripe... Worst case scenario is to be frugal and when this passes....and it will, take advantage of all those guys who want to get rid of their loading stuff. And let me add you can't beat a Rock chucker. They always go for cheap after a Crises. I've got 3. Lol
  6. Let me be an ass and say again...did you forget Obama?. I understand if you don't want to reload. But if that's the case you have to horde some serious ammo. The next 4 years might be challenging. Good luck.
  7. Well it doesn't cost anything to keep a website up and running. Ask TGO David.
  8. Now that my "just in case" bullet order has been delivered I'm much calmer. Now for a bucket of mash....

    Halloween

we just set a bucket of candy on the front porch. 2 kids. Looks like a bust here.
  10. Honestly the most effective thing I've used is Walker Earmuffs.
  11. Trying to monetize what has been a labor of love in a global pandemic in order to pay the bills?
  12. I of course have to ask....why would you ever buy a gun from wallyworld instead of supporting a real gun shop? Put your loyalty where it counts.
  13. I agree. Wallyworld will be out of the gun biz soon I bet. They don't like controversy. Easiest path to dollars with the least resistance...
  14. Who would know.... I can't remember the last time I was in a Wally world...
  15. I think we're in for a dry spell. I'll be busy loading this winter.
  16. Best deterrent I've found is a large fence.
  17. In fairness I left out one category that deserves some sympathy. Newbies. Lousy time to be starting the path to gun ownership.
  18. Capitalism. You really wouldn't want it any other way. Anyone not prepared at this point in time is either impoverished, ignorant, or lazy.
