I think the problem here is that bank accounts have to be linked to some identifier, i.e SSN or EIN. There' is probably some dollar amount threshold where reporting is required. So you will expend all you take in and will not have to pay taxes. But I bet you have to file.   No good deed.....

In my house it's strictly DADT. I don't inquire about book or plant purchases and she reciprocates. We both fund the communal account and keep one for personal use. We do our taxes together so there are no big mysteries about income.

I'd ask any realtor in the area you might know for a recommendation and look at the Appraisal Institute site or you can check the national registry for appraisers by location.   You can pm me if I can help.
