  1. I just picked up a bottle of the Jefferson Very Small Batch. They did a nice job with this one. I first started drinking this label about 3 years ago or so. I think their product has continued to improve.
  2. No sport in that. Might as well make it challenging.
  3. Great. I have a nice o/u drone tool.
  4. I've heard that shingles was a bad bad thing and have seen a few folks I know have to deal with it. Constant pain will really wear you down, I know from experience. Go take care of yourself and make a point of checking back in with us so we can bug the crap outta you.
  5.   It's only the first 15 years that are tough.
  6. I thought this was my week?   Welcome
  7. Don't some locales in Cali tax candy, sodas, and such?
  8. Good for you. I used to smell a cigarette and stil crave them, but I swear the cigs today smell more like ass that tobacco. Must be the crap they put in them to keep them from staying lit. If I still smoked I'd have to roll my own.   Good luck.
  9. Sin tax. They'll tax pot and whichever other drug they decide is good for us to have too.
  10. hmm. There was more than a shred of truth in his post. His tact factor was kinda low though.
  11. I loaded some CCI primers last year that were bought in the 80's. As for brand, the only primers I've had trouble with were PMC.
  12. That's really not my experience with the Cabelas site. I buy from Cabelas frequently and always check the ammo. It's a habit. I never see any 22. When I saw the link on here for that CCI it didn't show up on the website when I went there in the normal way. It's entirely possible you just screwed the pooch. Time will tell. I think Cabelas has other problems with their site showing in-stock items.
  13.   Or Muslim Chechen separatists. And how about those Iranians with the false passports? I'm just saying...
  14. There are lots of spots that fill that bill. The further south you go the less winter you'll have. I suggest a road trip. Best of luck.
  15. Memphis most probably will not be to your liking. The most urban spots are Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. Tri-Cities area is suburban. The areas surrounding these cities are suburban trending to rural the farther out you go. If you have to work for a living that will probably impact where you want to start looking. The joy of TN is that most of the state away from the larger centers of population is still fairly rural and the cost of living here is reasonable. Schools are a mixed bag.   Don't be insulted, we're just jealous of what we have, especially the way government is trending these days.
  16. Not so much. I think most of us will judge a man by the cut of his jib. But I also think we're skeptical based on our experiences. Someone coming here from elsewhere has the burden of proof. This is true of all human tribes. TN has a lot to offer not the least of which is a freedom not found everywhere else in the US. We'd like to keep it that way. So welcome. Just don't tell us how you did it somewhere else. I look forward to your input here on TGO.
  17. So that explains it. I tried to drink my way through the Savannah waterfront once and all that was going on. I just thought that was how they were hospitable down there.
  18. I saw what you did there. I'm guilty of the same thing.
  19. I understand he's been busy. It happens.
  20. Actually that party has been going on a long time. I don't particularly like the LBGT method of protest, but I could care less what they do and with whom. I'm all for legal equality because I don't think sexual orientation has a damn thing to do with the constitution. As for one's religious bias have at it. Just don't discriminate and use your religion to hide. Equal protection under the law I say.   Now flame away.
  21. I've used a pocket knife. Works fine, but you have to sharpen about every 40 rounds, at least with my knife.
  22. My money says the plane is somewhere in one of the 'stans. I also bet it worries the Russians. That's my theory.
