Just got off the phone with a deputy from Sumner county sheriff’s office they said as long as it’s outside of city limits and being done safely there are no ordinances about shooting

I live in summer county but won’t mind driving to near by counties as well. Just couldn’t find any information online about where you could that’s why I turning to y’all’s advise

Hey guys I live in Tennessee for about 4 years now , and been sport shooting for about 2 years, just got so tired of paper targets , always see on YouTube all this guys just pulling up in the middle of a wooded area with their pickups setting up targets and start shooting . What are the laws in Tennessee about doing that or where it’ll be allowed to do so?
